excellent, thank you. Freud would certainly agree, but I am afraid we wouldn‘t like the Hegel, let alone Heidegger vie sécrète…

What a petulant and stupid response. And I admire Derrida.

Derrida understands that the essence of the human being is dominated by desire (which is also, btw, what Lord Buddha taught -- the human realm is the realm of beings whose main emotional affliction is desire) so he wants to understand how these philosophers handled this most difficult emotion. Brilliant answer from a brilliant man.

I do believe that truth can not only be popular, but also remain the truth. In a world filled with hypocritical preachers, academic fraud, and propaganda; some of the best philosophy I’ve found was an allegory contrived democratically by everyday Christians on social media.

It's funny how devoted Marxists can never accept any criticisms levelled against Marx's theory, however acute and irrefutable, because according to them, "Marx never meant that, you don't understand Marx". In that way there are basically an infinite set of interpretations of what Marx actually meant, each of them valid until someone lays bare the stupidity in it and then comes the next of what Marx actually meant. 😂😂

A break from materialistic thinking into the vastness of existence that thought can take towards cohabitating with the object and not the subject/object dichotomy. Basically, a spirit in the future with a different consciousness. I think even the uneducated are all weary of incessant classification and formal structures that weigh everything down but offer very little life. So they do not even bother. I agree, philosophy as we know it is dead. But a philosophy that resembles the presocratics might emerge. Their vistas seemed wider. Language has fallen along with wonder and imagination. Maybe spirit and soul must be the starting point of the new philosophy. Intellect has taken us far. But not far enough for the human spirit.

Here is philosopher comparing the consult / priest type like Jordan Peterson, who doesn't have one single idea of his own. Derrida is very misunderstood in general, I think reason for this is his " exile" background.

We are all increasingly conditioned into selfishness & greed in order to boost the economy : ( This video is a blueprint for creating equality, unity & peace on earth ! We could see this in practise if the christian church was less corrupt, & actually kept to christ`s teaching that the wealthy cannot get into heaven, but should help the poor ! : )

Isn't it better to help the country provide the basic medical care or have students learn medicine in their country? Isn't it better to stop enabling a set of social structures that doesn't care about its own people? Isn't it great to have parents who don't let their children just wander off and suffer just like all their genealogies have suffered? Work with the social structures and help them with be rich

I think this was an oversimplification and speculation based on poor understanding of poverty. I wholeheartedly agree spending money on a buggati vs a camry is a huge difference. However, poverty exists as long as evil exists and the reasons behind the poverty will never be addressed by throwing move money at it. We can keep throwing our entire GDP at it and there will still be poverty nationwide. Poverty ultimately will exist as long as the systems that led to it continue to exist. These things well beyond the reach of most world governments and armies much less charities.

Peter does not understand that we are a social species, not a solitary one. Like Aynn Rand, his morality concept is constructed for a solitary species, which they both seem to mistakenly think humans are. Morality for a social species MUST include the interdependance intrinsic to a successful social species. We are all single consciences...but we are ALL wired to be part of a whole, whether we like it or not. Morally, we serve two masters...setting the stage for eternal conflict. Because of that, a healthy democracy will ALWAYS BE MESSY. It will always be a conflict between self and others. Empathy is the mechanism our DNA provides to conduct that balance. Empathy IS what makes us a social species. Empathy is what makes us humans...not animals.
