The videography for this post is excellent and high quality. I only wonder at the odd choice of Irish music to go with the pictures of a Japanese and American cultural event. I like the music but it just does not seem to go with the pictures.

Thank you Matt for a great job of filming this and editing it together so well. A few words about this set: This was a "bonus" set at the end of a party I threw at my place that followed an earlier 1 hour performance by Jordan Page. I played 3 original songs and Jordan did improv guitar solos over 2 of them. We also played bits of covers of Pink Floyd's "Wish You Were Here" and "Here Comes The Sun" by The Beatles. Jordan is talented as hell. What he improvised on guitar on top of my songs was beautiful and surprised me. We only did a quick run through of my songs once before the party started. I don't know how he was able to improvise that well on the fly, but I guess that's a skill you pick up as a touring guitarist. My disclaimer is that I'm a bit rusty. I'm not a touring guitarist, I haven't ever performed in front of a group larger than maybe 7 people before, my guitar was slightly out of tune the whole time (rookie mistake), I was a little excited so I played too fast and a bit too aggressively, and yeah I made a few errors. But overall, after watching Matt's video of the set, I'm pretty happy with my first public performance of these songs (that I wrote when I was 23). Performing these songs with Jordan was an honor, and just a surreal cool experience.
