My grandfather (from the Bridgewater/Dayspring area) fought in WWI as a Nova Scotia Highlander (Black Watch replacements, I'm told), and so I very much appreciated seeing this short video about the museum in Halifax. I'm in the USA and won't likely get up to the museum any time soon, but it would be nice to see it.
my name is michael higgins i am an amputee of the right leg i am a registered disable person with revenue canada last year in the month of February i asked social development for help with my cost of electric because we had a long winter i was told the most i could get was one hundred dollars it would have cost 40 to go get it not to mention the dangers of winter driving.i live in the rogers vill area and i have now been with out electricity and water for 3 months. i have been abandon by my country.Mr Alward has given Roy construction here the sum of 160 k to built a party tent for the blue grass concert they have once a year. my wife and i have few choices left in life right now it is amazing how quickly my country can take but never help. i have never received a disable tax credit I was told i did not qualify because i did not work after yet to qualify you have to be disable enough to not work.
