Seeing this makes it 10x funnier for those who have seen him talk about Duh Duh Duh (Canadian Asprin) as Boomer likes to call it lol

Inspiring and amazing. I played for Ball State in the late 80s / early 90s and knew about Mr. Ealey through Toledo game magazine/programs when we played them. I always thought ‘how was that even possible that he led UT to a 35-0 record’, and I had never heard of him? Glad I know now. What a great man.

I heard this "May Day" call when I was 6 years old and at that time, i thought the commentator was saying "mayday mayday mayday" like if he wanted to make a metaphore. It was the last moment of the Bruins and their "plane" was crashing. I only realize when I got older that the guy was actually called "May" hahaha

When the panthers lost to Av in 96. Sweep They lost to a very good team. But no shame making the cup in just their 3rd season. They had a lot of respect for the Avs too. It took them 27years to make it back lose again then win it this year 2024. In their 30th season. All the ups and down the years in between and finally win. This was a great moment with borque who deserved this. Paul Maurice on the coaching side just experienced this moment

I was a 12 yo old Ranger fan listening to this game on the radio since they only showed the road games on WOR and we didn’t have cable yet. Went from NOOOOO after Espo was stopped to what the heck is going on there? I think I saw it on the news eventually.

Looking back on this prior to Game 7 of the 2024 finals, you forget to acknowledge this Avalanche squad might have been the most loaded roster of talent maybe since the Islanders' dynasty...maybe the Oilers' dynasty. Borque, Roy, Forsberg, Sakic...all in the HHOF. Blake is in the IIHF HOF.

Grew up hating the sabers in the 90’s/2000’s when they had a little rivalry going with the flyers. That said this is one of the best calls in sports history. Unforgettable.
