This takes me way back , was it early '67 ? I seem to remember Radio London playing it a lot. It should have been a hit ......hers an update i bought the Mirage compilation which charts their career. Three ex members ended up in Joe Brown;s Home Brew a very worthy outfit in the early 70's . The bass player Dee Murray ended up as an Elton John band member. Sadly three of the band including Murray all died in their mid 40;s back in the 90's.
I recorded this off the radio as a kid in 1967, and was amazed by the lyrics and the unusual nature of the song. The lyric "I'm using you, using you" sounds like a pardody of another song, but its title escapes me..... anyone have any ideas?
