Hotrods & Customs is what this channel is all about.
My vision for this channel is to show the various projects that i build or fix in my shop, Includes some sheet metal fabrication, custom upholstery, restoration, random ideas to build, various DIY shop upgrades that i have done or plan to do. Basically this will be my way of showing off what i can do and hopefully its of interest to somebody out there. Also this will be a slow work in progress as i learn to create content better and faster.
What a worthless video instead of playing music you could have talked to us and let us know what you were doing especially all the newbies wanting to do thier upholstery :(
Seats came out awesome! My only critique would be it needs a little more light. Us old guys with fading vision, watching on our phones need things a little brighter.
Hell yeah man. I knew you helped out with the seats, but how did I not know you had a RU-vid channel? Sorry, I should of been here much sooner to check this out. Sobering Restoration sent me over. Glad they did. Thank you so much for helping out with the build. I'm not sure what it's worth, but I'll be shouting you out on my channel once I get the car. I can't wait to see and enjoy those seats in person!
I guess I should check my RU-vid comments once in a while, Sorry for the late response, anyway I do plan on making more vids. Real life gets in the way sometimes! Congrats and good luck with the 57'
Hey bud, I love the way you jacked the body off the 57. You think it was sketchy with jack stands, In the 70s I used a 3 bumper jack to lift the body off of my 57 and lifted it enough to put 3 55 gal drums under it so I could clean the underside and pull the frame out so I could clean and paint both. So I think your way is real safe. lol Good job.. Can't wait to see you do more on it, plus I want to see you do some motorcycle seats. I may even have one for you to do. Later
Love 57s Ill watch them all day long Im old school and back in the days we would improvise with what we had to get the job done as we had none of the fancy tools we can get nowadays But we were safe and still here to talk about it Great job on the 57
Thanks John. I did have quite a few safeguards in place if something did go south luckily with good planning and a slow pace everything was just fine in the end
love the '57! Using scissor jacks to lift and support the body was crazy stupid BUT you got away with it! that's all that matters now. Looking forward to what bring us next!
Hey! I watch DD Speed Shop & Sobering Restoration Services Horsepower Division. They speak highly of you so I Subscribed all the way from Iowa USA! looking forward to your content brother!
I will send you the door panels when I win it ,lol. great work, good video, Do a video of a full interior on a muscle car and your channel and business will sky rocket, good luck
Man you did a great job on the '57 interior (seats) much appreciated, thanks for your input dude. They are going to set the car off sweet. Keep up the good work eh? I've just subscribed to your channel in thanks for your contribution.
Hi as you know that I am a big fan of all things Dan does at DDs speed shop. And I love to learn all processes of upholstery, chalk marks and glue and stitching is cool and that walking foot Juki? Cool job man
Hey Chris, Just wanted to say nice work on the 57 seats for the DD Speed shop car. Looking around your channel i had to subscribe and check things out here. Wanted you to know that theres not a lot of people that donate their time and work to projects like this but when someone does it shows how awesome they are. Keep the faith and wish you all the work you can handle.
Video is good, better quality than many, especially for just starting. One more sub added and hopefully some work your way too. Look forward to more from you, good luck from SK.
Will definitely follow you , just subscribed, really nice work on those seats for ddspeed shop giveaway , they were pretty rough , not the worst I’ve seen but a lot of work went into them to get them back to where they once started . Again very very well done !
