Great and thanks ! I just update to the Beta but for some reason the display on the right side copilot is dark ,do you know how to fix it ? thank you !
When the wind is blowing AT you, it's actually a good thing with discus throwing. If you hit the release angle just right, the incoming wind will cushion the disc, raise its flight path and keep it in the air longer. Looks like these conditions were ideal. Technically a great looking throw - I'm excited to see it and for him. But yes, interesting as some have mentioned, that wind is considered no factor in field events as opposed to sprints etc.
Your absolutely correct, however the wind will actually slow down the discus if its a straight ahead headwind, rather you want an angled headwind, as you can see around the 19 second mark of this video where the officials flag is more sideways, thats whats going to really provide that cushioning without slowing down the discus at such a severe rate.
THIS IS SO MOTHERLOVING IMPRESSIVE! Another fake*** record knocked down thanks to Mister Alekna and whole Latvia <3 This thing is making me impressed even motherloving more when I'm starting to think about that non-sport, dirty matter of old results from the '80s. ***[Why fake? I'll tell you, be my guest] In discus throw by beating WR Mr Mykolas Aleknda faced not just the greatest, fastest, not just the longest. Old WR was just the Dopest. Oldest men's athletics WR made by almighty Dope. (and Jurgen Schult as scene support) Whole their GDRs 'national sport' PRODUCED by a hand of the State. Special awards goes to Eastern's Germany "Ministry of Dope in Sports" which helped to maintain whole industry and literally created dope monsters from ALL of their olympic athletes. Just think about it - the fact that it was the oldest WR certainly means some happy coincidence, right? xDDD And please, don't believe some random guy on the internet, just google and read/listen/watch about it - it's imho fascinating how it can be organized by the whole STATE. Mafia-state. Every GDRs athlete was on dope - its a fact which only IAAF cannot handle with or I'm even more retarded than I thought xD
@@m1oberon Denfly boughts the rights to Denfi. denfi went thru a poor quality control spell. and sold off a lot of assets. Denfly is now the official distributor to all former Denfi discus products
Ironically, Mykolas broke my freshman record at Cal in '68 a couple of years ago (176').....by almost 50' (227') !!! After watching tapes of his throws, I knew then that he has all the makings of a world record holder; it was just a matter of time. While he's not as big as many of the world's top throwers, his speed, explosiveness and technique through the circle are near flawless. As most top tier discus throwers don't reach their maximum performance until their late 20's or early 30's, I can only imagine how far this young athlete will throw over the next decade or so. Well done Mykolas!!!
Event though Alekna ist a fantastic athlete. This is not comparable to Juergen Schults WR. Because the conditions were tailored at the Alekna event to allow “sailing” - a very strong headwind. (Just like a very strong tailwind disqualifies a top 100 m sprint time). Schults record was during a general athletics championships where other competitions were held too. And most of all that was no significant headwind because it was in a stadium. Under Aleknas conditions Schults unique throw would have been a 75…
Рекорд установлен на эксперементальной площадке с использованиям действия аэродинамических факторов ветра.На стадионе в Париже будет 69м. Атлету тем не менее аплодисменты- Красавец!!!
