hey man i have the same fault code on my Golf 5 ''01130'' but i gota say theres no ABS / ESP or Hand brake light on dash board when u start the car and even after it runs .. What problem can it be ?
Hello, does the diagnostic equipment connect to the car box? If not, it's probably the power supply. It is necessary to check fuses, wires, connections. There may be a fault in the gearbox control module. Visually inspect all connections in the engine compartment.
I get same error redundant brake switch df045 and warning light short circuit df016, checked light on the switch and switches but everything works. I jave no idea what it could be. Bought used switch same problem, brake works and releases but there is no red light
have same problem , shifter wont move , code U010100 lost conection to tcm , doesnt recognize the TRANSMISION on SKODA Fabia mk2 2011 VRS i have also U01700 ABS brake control module Read out DTC , if it helps
Two fuses missing? Wow, good job! I see missing fuses when there is a short and someone just pulls the blown fuse… Also, alarm installation or auction sabotage can explain some of the cases where fuses are missing…
Hi. i know this was a while ago but just checking, since im using a generic obd tool as opposed to the better gimmicks out there since my mechanic is not available immediately. I've seen a code for the fuel regulator and codes for the map/intake sensor. Since I saw those in your diagnostic report, i just need to know, if you've fixed your issue, were the map sensor values triggered as a result of the fuel regulator malfunctioning?
@@etsaauto4115 the metal part of the wiper motor housing has a square plastic bit where you also attach the water hose. It’s leaking from where the plastic part meets the metal part.
The metal cover of the mechanism comes off. It is not fused with the metal, it is a separate part with the water supply tube and the nozzle. If it is damaged by corrosion, then you have to make more efforts to remove that cover. 
Good luck with getting new wiper motors. Mine was in the garage from mid January till June 2024 as they could not obtain new motors from Citroen. Had to point out that they were breaking the law and I will be handing it over to my Solicitor before they "suddenly" got them less than 10 days later. What we really need is for someone to FIX the PCB on the old motors because spending over £360 per motor is going to end a lot of C5's as people are not willing to spend over £1090 just to get the windscreen wipers fixed on a 8-16yr old car, even if there's nothing else wrong with it.
Yes, you are absolutely right, your intentions are good, but it is not always possible to fix an electronic system damaged by time and corrosion. So you have to wait until you get a good part.
I have tried a new relay, replaced fuses. Works from testing but from the stick, works only 2 times and after you have to switch the engine off and back in to work again 2 times .
hello, does the fan turn on when you start the car's air conditioner? If so, after disconnecting the connector from the air conditioner pump, check if there is power. If there is power, you will have to change the clutch of the air conditioner .
