- Historical Education Through Extreme Excavations - Conscientious video documentation of historic trash deposits
FOLLOW BottleNed's digging journeys across the American West as he salvages 19th century anglo period objects from private properties where the soil is being disturbed by construction projects ! MEET the local western weirdos who also enjoy this bizarre hobby ! LEARN about the colorful history of the American West through storytelling, montages of vintage photographs, guitar playing and pirate rap videos
REMEMBER that BottleNed does NOT endorse digging on protected public lands. Old stuff buried in undisturbed context helps us understand what happened on a site and should be left in place, similar to the way we preserve historic buildings in ghost towns. Also, BottleNed doesn't disturb Native American sites out of respect for their culture because their trash is considered sacred & BottleNed don't need no bad juju / Indian curse adding static to his bottle game.
5:20 Is Chuck digging with a K-Bar? My Dad used to dig with one of those when he was metal-detecting 40 years ago. 9:35 It says something about our ancestors that they would put so much decoration into the BOTTOM of a jar.
Why would anybody steal THAT car? You're dedicated, that's for certain. Even if I was willing to outlay for the dirt, I would've had to bow out of cleaning up that biohazard of a trash field.
I appreciate your knowledge and the fact that you take time to share it. I would never have believed that a person could find intact 120-year-old bottles in a boulder field.
This is far more work than chasing beep, for shore. 🤣 i used to do this as a kid, like 40+ years ago. You guys are pros and have acceptable behaviors in confined spaces. Unless someone ... 💨sharts. Come on meow! ... 😮 Anywhozzle.. It's hard work, dangerous, and potentially a nothingburger. But you never know, just 1 bottle could fetch 20k. But, there are safty factors. Such as calling before probing or a dig. And several PPE standards proven to save lives. All these standards are bought and paid for by the dead. Any questions, 📞 a Karen @OSHA. I'm not a Kevin either. Im just a feller with a lot of near misses and mini heartaches. Have fun, find those gems, and keep on, keepin on. 👍
Hello 👋 from New York, You guys found some amazing finds. Thank you for bringing me along with you. I can't wait to see where you go and what you find next ☺️ 😊
That was total backstabbing of you to say your friend got on SSI. On video. Your jealous and try to get him cut off showing him dig with a shovel on video. If you were my friend I would get in a fist fight with you then never speak to you. You never throw someone under the bus discussing their income .
