I don't do anything fancy to sleep but wear a satin lined tichel like wrap. And man it makes my hair feel soooo soft. I do want to try these for day time tho! Usually wear it down and loose but it breaks a lot.
Holding the length and tapping, allows shorter lengths to drop down. You can see the variation in strand condition. I find when an end is wispy, curled (straight hair) their can be damage or very raised cuticle an inch or so higher than tip. Which causes the wisp, frizz. That can be the damage, rather than at the last cm or two of end tip. I've tested by running my pinched fingertips down the strand. So maybe beneficial to tap hair strands out, cut above the curl, wisp (can be a cm or more above start of wisp, curl)
Sorry darling, but I cannot watch your video 🥺 Why? 🥺 Because you hair is so surreal that I feel jealous! 😅 Hahaha... kidding. I mean, your hair is surreally beautiful, and I love your video. Thank you! ♥
Please PLEASE don't pull your hair so tight!!!!! You might not see the negative effects of going so tight now but I can assure you that, in time, you will.
Don’t worry it’s not too tight, it might look it but I always make sure to loosen it enough at the scalp so there is no tension, I’m aware of the effects long term & it’s something I always advise people to avoid doing ☺️
The t-shirt is just merch, it’s a niche reference about a cursed turnip, which is what the graphic underneath the text is, there’s no serious or sinister meaning behind it
You make it look so easy I can only do a basic braid. I just can't manage to get my hands to hold onto the hair when it's divided and held above the hair below.
Is that your natural hair colour? Also can you recommend any natural hair channels that have similar hair to yours so ideally blonde but any colour is fine ❤
Yeah it’s my natural colour! I come from a family of gingers but somehow I ended up lighter 🤣🥰 my inspiration was always @organicallyanna right from the start, although she has very dark hair, you could also try @naturallyantonia or @basicallyrapunzel 🖤
@@MissLittleLouise that's so awesome! I have darker blonde hair so most people don't believe me that it's real blonde since it's not as light as yours, so now I'm growing it out after bleaching it several times and trying to dye it back. When my hair was long before the ends were definitely lighter but also very thin with layers, so I guess now if it grows longer it will probably be blonder again but I guess I'll have to wait and see. By the way I know all of those channels and I love your recommendations, @organicallyanna is my favourite and I'm a long time subscriber. P.S. I was asking specifically about anyone blonde because there's not really anyone who has really long hair that's naturally blonde and posts about it, and I don't know where to find inspiration from and how to know who's hair is real. I hope our generation can get past this bleaching craze, I hate it. Thank you ❤️
Constantly tying your hair up causes breakage! I have butt length hair, I’m 66 years old and leaving my hair down loose is what’s healthiest for my hair. Twisting, braiding, pulling is what causes splitting!!
You can use the flaxseed gel as either a pre shampoo treatment, so just apply all over & leave for 20 minutes before washing or… You can use it as a mask, after shampooing squeeze as much excess water out of your hair & apply the gel to the lengths, you can use it on your scalp too if you want to ☺️ then rinse it out well & condition as usual! Hope this makes sense & helps! 🥰
Good afternoon- I was just wondering, which do you like best, Calia or Carina Organics? I noticed that Carina Organics is quite a bit cheaper in price.
Hi, I like to use both but recently I’ve been finding it hard to get calia in the uk so I currently only use carina Organics & I love it! ☺️ I find the two brands very similar so I’d say it’s definitely worth going with the carina Organics! 🥰 I don’t know where you live but if you’re buying within the uk / Europe then I get mine from a website called ‘live in the light’ & I have a discount code for them too - Lilmisslouise15 for 15% off everything on their site ☺️ hope that helps! 🖤
Hello When you do this, do you trim all of the hairs that pop up? If so, i have a ton of splits😂 I seem to have alot of hair that is at different lengths. Hope you are having a good week!
No you don’t trim all hair that pops up! Just the ones you see that have a split end, I’d like to try & recreate this video so I can hopefully be a bit clearer haha having your individual hair strands at different lengths is normal, there are a few reasons why, like it could be breakage or split ends but mostly it’s just because your hair strands don’t all grow at the same rate so it will always appear that way! 🥰
@@MissLittleLouise oh whew! I am so glad you don't have to trim all the little pieces because I have a ton of them! LOL I was getting a little worried because I thought all this was breakage but I don't think it is now that you explained it. Right now my hair is only a little past my shoulders so it will be hard to do this but maybe as it gets longer I can be consistent with it once or twice a month I guess. Thank you!
@@MissLittleLouise I am going to try doing your hair care routine because it really works! So basically you just do the capillary schedule, and your morning and night time routine, and use a Tek wooden brush? That does not even sound complicated like some of these people's hair care routines are LOL keep up your routine because your hair is beautiful!
Oh yeah, btw, if you are looking for a leave-in conditioner since the Garnier hair food masks have been discontinued, I have been using Pura d'Or leave in conditioner. It doesn't have any silicones or sulfates and as far as I know, all the ingredients are fine. But I just started using it so we will see. My hair doesn't like protein and I think it has a little of that in it. But it smells really good! And it's about the same consistency as the Garnier.
@@MissLittleLouise No, I live in the USA but I emailed the company asking why I couldn't find them in the stores and they told me most of them have been discontinued but I think there's one that is still available. I think it's the repair one. But maybe that's just for the USA. And I am so glad to hear you're going to make more videos!😊
Will you do a video on your long hair/ haircare journey? I would love to see one! Also, some more protective hair styles. I think your video was one of them that taught me how to french braid. Thank you so much!
Wow I cannot explain how much you’ve helped improve my Dutch braid technique!!! I used to try to immediately create three strands, but the way you separate the top section and then section the strands out is game changing. Thank you!!
Thank you for making this! This really gave me a clue on how I should be taking care of my hair.. my hair is not the best :( it’s always frizzy gets oily fast and barely holds volume, do you do this routine every night? And would you recommend it for someone like me? I just got layers so sleeping with them is a hassle.
Yeah I do this every night & I combine it with sleeping on a satin pillow case, that really helps with frizz! ☺️ I would recommend trying it out, just use a very small amount of each product if your hair gets weighed down easily ☺️
A lot of the long hair influencers that I follow have been cutting their hair short[er] lately, and it makes me want to cut mine too (I'm 3 inches away from classic length) but when I see any new posts from you it convinces me not to cut it. It already takes so long to grow it super long 😂 I endured 3 long years of growing it from shoulder to tailbone 😂 I think I'm going to let it grow to classic, and then maintain it there until my ends finally look blunt and full, since right now I have weird layers and fairy tail ends. PS. I forgot to mention, but your hair looks so beautiful in this video!!
I know, even I’ve been tempted after seeing a lot of people cut their hair 🤣 but once I reached my goal it’s been really fun keeping it at this length & watching it get thicker after each trim, so you should definitely wait it out! 🖤 thank you 🥰
I can't wait to see your night routine. Right now I'm confused about what to do… I should care the same way I do with face? Meaning: clean + moisturize each morning and before bed. Dunno because no one tells you what to do. Leave-in + oil morning and night? Only leave-in? It's sooooo hard. + no one tells you which kind of hair do you have, which makes the search for your HG harder. Did you tried the Garnier hydrabomb aloe vera gel? It's a leave-in and it was my savior. Right now I'm switching to Aloe hair mask (cuz it's 3 uses) but it's one of my HG on the leave-in category. OH, also as a rec on this section too, check for Salerm 21 silk leave-in conditioner. So good, but I can't use too much as my hair is medium porosity and super fine… But still, just a small pea size and it takes a lot to finish it!
Hopefully it will be posted soon! I have filmed it but I’m so picky with my videos & I can’t decide if I like it or whether I want to refilm it 🤣 My morning & evening routines are very similar, I just add in an extra product at night, I guess it’s like you would use a lighter moisturiser in the morning & then a thicker one at night? I’m not sure, my skin care is awful 🤣 I haven’t tried those products but I’ll definitely look into them! My hair is fine & it’s medium/low porosity I think 🤔 I’ve found that with fine hair it’s all about avoiding products that are quite thick & heavy & not over loading on oil, which is why I only need a couple drops! ☺️
@@MissLittleLouise yeah I feel the same with my art, it's a non ending cycle 😂 Well my face it's so stupid, oily and acne. So it took years until I found something that doesn't affect both. I use the same in AM and PM with the difference that i do double cleanse at night (and use sunscreen) but that's it. I simplified so it's cheap, effective and good. I have low porosity so I'm really careful about what I use. When I tried oils was like a nono, and don't make me talk about butters! I still remember taking double showers after seeing how fucked it was. I also avoid silicones which makes it more flat and, let's be real... Fine hair doesn't have a lot. The Garnier aloe gel it's sooooo good, pretty similar to Hair bomb but just a leave in gel. So good for air dry hair. But as said, I'm just going for hair food as I can use in the same way and avoid having more on the bathroom haha I've tried a lot of oils and I'm still looking for the perfect one. Jojoba and argan are the options for low porosity, but at least argan is also a nono. Grapeseed was ok, i also used rice oil (because my skin loves it) but it was long time ago and I don't remember how it was 😆 right now I'm testing with squalane, which I've had for my face.
Yeah I need to try & figure out products that my skin likes but I’m totally clueless about it 🤣 yeah I never use silicones either, my hair likes jojoba oil, have you tried avocado oil? I’ve used that in the past & I quite like it ☺️
I tried adding a couple drops of oil on my damp hair after applying some leave-in conditioner after my shower and now my bleached ends that I'm growing out feel soft instead of like hay! The oil made all the difference but particularly on damp hair. 😊 Once those ends are eventually gone, I should be able to get away with not applying on damp hair hopefully. Would love to try a leave-in spray conditioner at some point if I can find one that isn't strongly scented.
I always apply leave in conditioner & oil after washing on my damp ends, it helps a lot! ☺️ Carina Organics do an unscented liquid leave in conditioner! I get all my Carina products from Live in the light, if you do order anything from there I have a discount code LILMISSLOUISE15 that gives you 15% off 🥰
I am missing sleeping in braids since I chopped my hair off! It was the most comfortable style to sleep in! I've just tried doing a dutch braid for bed, can only secure it in the tiniest ponytail at my nape! I think for my growout 2.0 I'll be trying products from The Innate Life because you speak so highly about this oil!!
They have the calia leave-in conditioner on their website now, I just ordered two bottles. And i love the carina one also. I was sad to find out that garnier has discontinued the hair food hair masks. 😢
@@MissLittleLouise Yes i kept wondering why i cant find them in the stores so i emailed their website and they said they discontinued them except for the one for fine hair. I believe its the watermelon one. I loved the aloe vera one so much! I dont know why these companies do this. Make good products, get us attached to them, and then discontinue them😿😿
@@MissLittleLouise oh I absolutely loved the aloe vera one! I sure wish I could stock up on them LOL. Yeah if I was you, I would buy them every chance I get that way you won't ever run out LOL
So good to see you back! Love your hair videos. When doing the LCO method, do you find you need to add more oil in between washings throughout the week?
Ok that sounds like a good routine. When you cut your hair, do you just tell them to cut it straight across blunt? And how often do you cut yours? I like how your ends are thick
Yeah I just get a blunt cut ☺️ when I was growing it out I got a trim roughly every 6 months, now that I’m maintaining a length I get it trimmed every few months!
Welcome back! I'd love to see a video about your hair journey. Things like: when did you start growing it? Do you think it'll ever be 'too long'? Did you begin growing it with a goal in mind? Do you ever get the urge to cut it? Looking forward to seeing more of you! 🖤
