I've been wondering why Star hasn't appear as powerful as she was when she reemerged from the broken wand and defeated Toffee with a single blast. Maybe that is because she was in her Butterfly Form plus using the Wand at the same time, which amplifies and concentrates her power? In her later fights, she either uses her wand or her butterfly form alone, instead of using both at the same time, so maybe because of that, she didn't show her full potential?
Star: How did you do that, and teach it to me now. I can't help but laugh at this... Edit:Ngl, I've never shown any interest in this show until I saw Eclipsa and Hekapoo...
You know the thing I have noticed about eclipsa that she said to the tragic Queen Moon and star she asked permission before she did anything? I just feel like Moon just got fed a lot of bull crap after she performed The darkest spell on toffee. Then she bought into the hate of eclipsea.
I also noticed that she just besides had a chilling and funny immature attitude as we got to know her. She never really manipulated or gaslighted star or even moon. She always asked and she just didn't see the world as black and white as everyone else did. It's the ironic part the magical high Commission said that she was evil and that she shouldn't be in love with the monster she is. But they're not human either shouldn't they be considered monsters? It's like they love to pick and choose what parts they like and they don't like that is so relatable in real life.
I love how she isn't just straight up evil or good. She knows some things she does can be bad, like she said. "I've written plenty of more evil spells. Writing is rewriting, you know." She admits that the spells she made can and are evil, but she doesn't care about what others believe her to be. She just wants to test her limits. She wants to go as far as the path she chooses will take her.
Unpopular opinion, Eclipsa should never been queen. I know sounds bad but let me explain. I feel like Eclipsa's spirit was more like been in adventures and having a common family dinamic with Globgor and Meteora, instead of being in a castle full of rules and responsabilities. Even if Moon was not from the royal family, I think she should have stayed as queen and granted Eclipsa her freedom, after all Eclipsa without her wand is not a menace. Plus, in the rest of the show we saw she wasn't so happy with the idea of being a queen and rule a kingdom that judge her lifestyle and her actions and she wasn't a villain after all.
Headcannon: Glossaryc was genuinely damaged after Star found him until Eclipsa factory reseted him with the head scratch she gave him, but kept pretending cause he wanted to see if they eventually guessed what he was saying.
STILL, so mad, this show did not have the balls to make Eclipsa a full fledge villain, she was alone in the library when moon was. passed out right before they found out something in the library that changed the plot, nothing suspicious there
It would also be out of character for Eclipsa to be full evil. She was always morally grey but had a good heart. No matter how shitty season’s 4 script was.
Love the fact that eclipsa was basically misjudged through all the series... At first the characters really do they work on giving you that scary creepy image of eclipsa, but after she awakens, the more you know about her, the more you feel sorry for her...
I find the scene where Star returns the kingdom only for the both of them to find that Meteora had been returned to her younger state so touching in a way I don't know how to describe. Star thinks that what she's returning is the kingdom, but in reality, it's Eclipsa's daughter.
