Since the Steeler’s management dumped Heinz for Acrisure, I’m surprised they didn’t dump “Renegade” for Christopher Cross’s “Sailing”. Time for some coaching changes in 2023.
When j saw the beginning of the video on tik tok with Tommy Shaw. I commented that they should play that part in Heinz Field and Tommy liked the video. My jaw dropped.
Ill always remember the Buffalo SNF game in 2019. Late in the 3rd they of course whip out renegade and the crowd goes absolutely crazy. But the weird thing is, so did the Bills. The iconic video of Matt Barkley swinging that bright blue overcoat over his head and Ed Oliver dancing on the sideline to pump up the defense. Sean Mcdermott knew Mike Tomlin and the steelers well and had the facilities group blast renegade and crowd noise into the practice facility all week in the second half of practice. And Brian Daboll and the offense had a playcall called renegade they had practiced all week where even if Josh Allen couldnt hear his coach through the crowd, he knew exactly what they were running to quiet the crowd down. The next play, Josh Allen uncorked a 40 yard pass down the sideline.
I KNOW there are half a dozen Steeler linebackers in the HOF, but OMG, when I see Joey Porter I just THINK of STEELERS! And I was born in Pittsburgh in 1965! I'm SO HAPPY that he has a STEELERS RING!!!!
This got ME hyped up for the Steelers; and I'm a die hard Browns' fan! My HS colors were orange and brown because the Browns donated practice jerseys when it opened up. There's nothing like a GREAT fight song💪👏
I was at the game vs the browns when they played renegade for the first time. Lately at games it has backfired a lot and the opposing teams have been scoring after they play it and people are saying there’s a renegade curse … 😾
I love my Steelers win lose or draw.I was there at 16 when the Steelers beat Oakland.I’m now 66 and god bless the Steelers.the mill town is gone but the fans will always be there.we are a steeler nation.
I watch this video every once in a while and I love the part at 3:41 when the guy clicks on Renegade - Non BAL. Prob means something else but it makes me happy thinking they had to have a special non-Baltimore version :-)
there's nothing like being a steeler fan❤❤ I've been one since 1978 and when they started the tradition of renegade, you actually feel concrete shake. us fans LOVE IT and the players hype up too. it's a heavenly experience❤
@@kngmidas8332 anytime I van talk to other steeler fans, it's a pleasure.feel free to pick my brain whenever you can.😊 warning- not all of it is great memories but I love them all anyway😆❤❤
@@kngmidas8332 yeah, I was 10 years old in 1978 and learned everything about the game, the rules, etc from my grandfather, who was a fan, and only had 2 granddaughters so we had no choice but to learn about the game and to love the Steelers..lol. that itself is a memory I hold dear to my heart that I had that bond with just my grandfather.
Perfect song for the Pittsburgh Steelers! Because even in their down years the Steelers are famous for smash mouth football! Even if you beat them, your body is going to feel it for a couple of weeks!
Ahh the memories are so beautiful...the stoppage in play, the opening vocal, the drum kick, the towels going nuts, crowd is electric...then boom Tom Brady marches the Patriots 80 yards for his 4th touchdown and it's all over but the crying
