This video made want to build a warrior-mage build but with conjuration focus, right now I'm playing my first build with pure Archery skills but is getting kind of tiresome. This way of playing seems pretty fun! also subbed. Great videos!
Anything I love any thing I can get that is daedric, All of it maybe I am strange but I love the daedric dagger i love daedric i use the dagger even on dragons and Giants I want it all daedric
As for Soul Trap and Arvak - this is just my RP issue here, but I find these extremely important for me. First Soul Trap - I'm being very picky about which creature to soultrap (especially when it comes to Black Soul Gems - knowing that victim trapped in Black Soul Gem is sentenced to Soul Cairn - I usually reserve this on especially despicable people, mostly Thalmor. Hell, I'm a strong Stormcloak sympathizer, but even I cannot bring myself to soul trap common Legionaries. Kill them on sight, sure. But screwing up their afterlife, that is something completely different.), most usually casting it on undead, daedra, frostbite spiders, Falmer and bounty-bound Giants in Eastmarch. Second, Arvak. I know it’s just a summonable horse, but it has (for me) several advantages over "living" horse. Arvak can't die, and I do not like when my horse die because of bug (it's not about the money, I get personal attachment to the creature). And second, it's nice to know you can comfort poor hose trapped in Black Soul Gem and sent to soul Cairn by allowing it to once again gallop in less depressing environment.
Some counterpoints to the lower ranked spells. Muffle: Can be useful to level illusion for other spells at least, or for RPing a nightblade. Invisibility: Yes, doing almost any action breaks this spell, but keep in mind, that’s one free action with no chance of detection. Pick a pocket in broad daylight. Shoot someone with a frenzy spell without anyone knowing it was you. The only limit is your creativity. Frenzy Rune: Not gonna lie. I didn’t even know this existed. Like other runes, could be useful as a trap if used properly, and out of the rune spells I would argue it’s probably the best. Set it up in a choke point enemies are forced to pass through, force them to search for you, and watch the chaos when it goes off~
Necromage has one of the best utilizations in Skyrim, which is being a vampire and the only way to break past the limits of enchanting without being completely game breaking.
You didn’t cover this one but Paralysis Rune (available with Arcane Accessories creation) vastly outranks the normal Paralysis spell as it paralyzes multiple enemies at once (AoE effect) when you cast it at their feet. And it has a much lower magicka cost. What I like to do for my mage character have PR in one hand and a AoE destruction spell in the other. Lethal and high exp gain. Or with my stealthy character place the rune, throw voice shout to lead enemies onto the rune and snipe them all. Detect Life is good for leveling though. In places like Whiterun or Riften the more people it detects, the faster exp gain.
I gotta say that cut purse is kinda niche, because it's useful when you want your money after training and said trainer doesn't have a shop where you can get your money back by trading or isn't a follower to just pick up your coins from their inventory
Dude. Necromage also buffs you - check out some glitch vids. You can get your magic resistance past 85% i believe with this perk with the right approach Though yes Restoration would be a tough call as it is a generally good tree. I would say avoid death is the worst personally as you will have had ample time to build stats and stock up on potions ect. By the time you get it You can avoid death by entering the item menue and downing food/ potions or simply save a level up to replnish all stats and avoid death from level 2 on. Vs wait for a situational perk I tend to not use/ need.
Muffle has no business being that low honestly, it singlehandedly makes stealth mages viable and further enables nightblades paired with invisibility to repeatedly go for x30 sneak attacks while remaining forever undetected. Edit: Bro what is invisibility doing so low on this list...
Become Ethereal is S-tier for melee characters. Allows you to close the distance on the most OP and annoying ass enemies in the game - Cryomages, Archmages, high-level archers (especially those with crossbows or the perk that staggers you), dragon priests, and dragons Use the Shout and just rush right at them without eating any of their damage
I just wanna point out that on master and legendary, the summons are significantly better. They dont take the dmg hit or increase in dmg taken that the player gets. They actually benefit from the dmg reduction that enimies do on higher difficulties, so the wolf summon is actually quite good...on higher difficulties
I'm just learning this for my birds I don't really know if you can craft that but because I plan switch but I know damn well that the decoration club that I spoke about is real because I've seen it with my own two eyes
First off arvak can be summoned in solstheim and it's one of two horses that can be written in solstheim and in blackreach maybe Tessa is the game considered black region outside area and no horse that responds with you while fast traveling can travel with you to souls time
I never went much beyond Destruction spells before, then I began using Muffle and Invisibility, then Conjuration. The latter is basically adding a follower, which could give a tremendous boost to damage, and lower damage to yourself when dividing attention for your enemies.
Honestly waterbreathing should be lower as you can enchant a ring with it with a petty stone and have the effect permanently ready in your invitory without the need to waste ingredients or have a set amount of time you can breath underwater
3:11 Clear Skies is great for trolling city NPCs and guards. Lol Try shouting the first word at the cities’ NPCs and watch them have a hard time standing up and trolling the guards. Lol
btw the best way to powerlevel conjuration is by spamming soul trap on a dead body until u run out of magicka then waiting1 hour then rinse and repeat this is one of the best ways to level any skill.
restoration is my bread and butter! its essentially free healing for my character! and it saves on health potions! i just need better equipment to speed up the rate of magika regeneration by a lot, once my enchants are maxed out i will basically be on my way to being unstoppable!
