Nice driving once again! I had the Mach 1 out at Willow Springs a couple weeks ago. The car handled great but I do have lightweight wheels and negative camber which really makes a difference. My times versus the R were pretty much the same. I am an intermediate driver. although I did run a couple sessions in the advanced group. Upshifts and downshifts are awesome in the A-10 as you know. The only issue I have with it is shifting out of six gear to seventh it really drops the RPMs. The R had a higher top end in the front straight though. A 350 and I were playing around on the track and he could barely pull me on the straights. Keep the videos coming!
@@DailyDrivenM2 Extremely. They were making a loud grinding noise towards the end of the lap that you can hear in the video. And it'll be even worse for all the upcoming videos.
Once again very good driving! The instructor was impressed also. I enjoyed watching you pass everyone. I will be tracking the Mach1 at Willow Springs in a couples weeks. Fast track with only nine turns. Should be interesting!
You are a good driver! I am going to track my 2023 Mach1 HP, 10 spd auto for the first time at Spring Mountain Raceway with the Shelby Bash. I sold my 2017 350R so it will be interesting to see the difference. Is your car stock and what wheels and tires are you using?
The MACH is stock non HP, but with the HP wheels and Falken RT660 for track days. I’m very curious what you think of the MACH vs the 350R. I’d still want a R someday.
I got back from Spring Mountain Race track this weekend. The car performed beyond my expectations. It is a HP car. I must say I did drop the weight of the car by approx 100 lbs. Project 6GR wheels I had from the “R” lost 39 lbs, took rear seats out, 32 lbs, emptied the trunk including sub woofer, 10 lbs, Brielle battery, 14 lbs. and a few others. Track was only 2.2 miles long. The 10 spd auto was awesome. Braking and handling were great. I think I was as fast in the Mach then I was in the R because of the auto. If the straights were longer though, maybe not.
@@DailyDrivenM2 It's been crazy on the FS leaderboards all year. Constant lead changes, everyone going faster and faster. It's the most entertaining class at least.
That guy waving the checkered flag did an awesome job, if I say so myself. It's great to get a different perspective than from the start stand. Great job!
Great video! I ran with your group that weekend. Sorry I never got to meet you. That was my first time to run Houston clockwise. That launch launched me on the first session of the day 😮. Still not sure what to do there.
