The reason this man ahem throws it in the oven is to prevent the moist ingredients from rotting. Good job man Love to taste the differences but know I’ve always thought rosemary was too much, I’d use garlic til I have vampires crying

What the yolks are suffering from is desiccation. The water content in them is being drawn out, thus curing them (things rot because of moisture).

@@playakain I tried this and it crumbled into pieces. I think you have to freeze the hotdog beforehand for that to work.

@@vickisnemeth7474 once you rinse off the exterior honey, it is simply just a cured egg yolk. No residual sweetness.

Hotdogs is actually a mix of all meats it's made from leftovers, they just put on the package what a majority of that brand uses

what if you dont have evaporated milk, what will be the alternative? we dont have evaporated milk here in the netherlands. thanks. I tried just a normal milk but its failed and i steam for like 1 hour.

Once you rinse off the honey on the outside, virtually none. The process works the opposite way, the honey absorbs the moisture from the egg yolk.
