Just got this plate carrier last month. Love it! Super solid construction. Could you make a video of your PC set up? (attachments, placement, reasoning, etc.)
Got my Radius in and attached and really love it. Just alittle more angle on the Radius and it would be perfect. Great setup though and very comfortable. Best Regards,
I’ve had the newest Werx holster for awhile for my G45 and Olight Baldr S. They were they only company that support the Olight at the time. I really love it and high recommend Werx holsters. I just ordered the Radius Mad Carrier and should get it in a few more days. Werx is definitely one of the best holster companies out there especially how the specialize in weapon lights. Werx Holsters 👍🏻
@@thejeffbosley - I should have got a Streamlight the first go around for this setup. I’d have to get a new Werx holster just to change the weapon light … haha!
@@Mako-sz4qr yeah. That’s the one thing with all these holsters…one weapon change and all must be started over. I have a perfect setup for my Glock 21, threaded barrel, tlr2 g…if I get red dot the fallout is substantial. lol.
Ar500 Testudo gen2 is garbage.... Do t buy one. I bought one and the stitching ripped at the kangaroo pouch. These carriers are Garbage.... Condor is better quality!
Hey Jeff!!! Great review on the Testudo Gen2 Plate Carrier. I have two one in OD Green and One in Multicam. Please let me know who makes and where I can get the shoulder pads you are running on your Testudo. I think those would work for me better than the ones that come with the Testudo. Thanks for your service and any other information you can provide regarding the shoulder pads.
Armor republic is running a BOGO deal and the price can’t be beat for the quality. They didn’t cheap on anything. They should throw you set of plates for that stellar review! If there’s a negative about AR, I’d say they don’t rush the shipping so plan on a little wait..it’s not 190 BP long but, it’s not wow fast either. Thanks for your outstanding review. I love mine as well.
And not to be social media “pimpy” but here it is (11x14) on me and I’m almost 6’6”. instagram.com/stories/thejeffbosley/3340222579305194805?igsh=b2kzdHA2OTdqbGYy
I'm a bigger guy myself. I weigh 245 and wear 2xl shirts. The 2XL cumberband WAS HUGE on me. Could've easily went with the large. Make sure you measure yourself. I myself picked up this exact plate carrier in multicam (just in case SHTF) and being a vet, I have to say this plate carrier is fantastic and is made with some real quality fabric, strong zippers and Kryptonian level of Velcro. Something I'd gladly bring into combat. Plus it's Extremely COMFORTABLE. That in of itself made it worth the buy
Well, I can appreciate the value of them, as someone who powered through and lost 100 lbs…. It’s not always an iron will, and sometimes you slip, I slipped on a birthday cake ( my own) and it took over a month to find my footing again, sometimes, something other than your own thoughts, can touch you and make you look at something differently, to give you that little edge of determination to continue on the path you chose, or to have that bowl of mashed potatoes with butter and cheese😉 not everything works, but if you’re looking for encouragement, you’ll find something to give you that push…. Sometimes in unexpected places, but a lot of the time, if I’m looking….. there for me find🫶🏻
Jeff, I believe there is a lot of weight to what you said. Even in fitness, to excel you have to overcome the mental side. Are you going to give up or are you going to push through when you don't feel like it?
Jeff, thanks for the update. It's always good to see/hear you. And yes, I was with you all 25 minutes. Your favorite film, I for sure thought you were going to say Rocky 4. That brings back a few memories. Suriously though, I've known you for a pretty darn while and can confirm that you are one of the hardest working guys I have ever met, even at the detriment to you body. I've seen it first hand. As far as being a good guy, yeah, also a true story, again experiencing it personally. I remember the time when my finger got so infected that you said, yeah, you need to get that checked out. And, without any thought, drove me into the doctor, waited in the waiting room for whatever it took to drain the sucker, then to the pharmacy. You're a good friend and honestly care about others. You don't owe Hollywood a thing and it's not getting you to where you need and want to be, so go to where it can. Peace and contentment (while still striving to move foreward) are great things. Pursue them hard. I'm excited for you in this next "phase". If you ever need anything, give me a holler. I still owe you one for that finger thing.
Thanks for the update, brother! I appreciate you. I’m 53 and while I can’t say I chased certain dreams like you did, there were many “normal,“ every day goals that I kept saying “one day… One day…“ And that day doesn’t always come. So you do have to shift, you do have to take control, and focus on what you can control and what you can succeed at doing, and rock on. Much love.
1. Proud of you for putting your priorities where they need to be, brother. I just had my 23rd black dogtag stamped this year. The way I see it, We owe it to the ones who didn't make it to live the best possible lives we can, in their stead. 2. Goats are awesome. They turn weeds into fertilizer. You should definitely get at least one goat. Well, probably two. They are herd animals after all... 3. Chickens are even more awesome. We have 14 of them now, and they are wonderful little creatures. They turn spiders and earwigs into omelets! Now THAT is a superpower! 4. If im being honest, Having seen what has happened to the comic book industry, (especially on the Marvel side), I'm kind of glad that you weren't involved in it. As long as I've known you, You have always been a nerd 1st and an actor 2nd, And having to play a superhero the way a woke, no-talent showrunner wanted it, versus the way Frank Miller would have wanted it, would have crushed your soul more than anything. Al Pacino said it best in Scent of a Woman: "There is no prosthesis for an amputated spirit." The roles you have had are ones that you can be proud of, not only because you work hard and gave 1,000% to the parts, but also because you didn't have to violate your integrity to play the parts. ...except for SEAL Team. What were you thinking?! I mean, you did a great job, and I get that SEALs are (technically) operators too, but pretending to be NAVY? It's beneath your dignity as a long-tabber!
I'm really cautious about doing things that will escalate in a nation with more guns than people (which is a good thing : an armed society is a polite society). Would a note left on their window that says "illegally park here again and your tires will be slashed" be bad?
Thanks for answering all my questions LOL. I know it's soon but hope that down the road it might feel right....and of course a rescue. Very glad that cough and worst part of "C" is behind you. Looking great, strong and healthy friend.🌞😁
Man I love your take here. A lesson I had to learn early in my life. Not to do with this video specifically but I don’t agree with everything you say, but damn man, you are a huge inspiration to me. Not just with being a green beret, but how you are as not only a man, but a human being, and the vulnerability you show is a breath of fresh air. I wanted to join the army and eventually join green berets early on in my teens, but things kept me from being able to sadly, something that I feel let down on, but is what it is. Hope the best for you man, and I hope to see you in more acting projects soon!
