I recognize several of them from other shows,but some new to me as well. I work with the owners sister of the green International truck. I've yet to see it in person though.
@@fireman7415 I personally prefer nothing over goofy music as soon as I hear it ileave a thumbs down and a comment and turn clip off. We come for the cars and sounds of the atmosphere of the event if music must be played it should be 50s and 60s music it fits the cars better. J m h o
That was a great show. Was my first time attending. I got to drive the R model to the show that you captured at 2:15. What a time capsule that thing is. This was the first time it was driven and really seen publicly since around 1990ish. The owner of is also had the Superliner 7:47 the Granite at 9:11 and our friend had his Cabover 9:21. What a great show. I am looking forward to returning for next years show. I am local within 20 minutes of Macungie and drive through everyday to work and am very surprised I have never attended this show. That will change for the future. I have a video in the works and should be up soon of me driving the R model to and from the show and also my "silent slideshow" of pictures I took as well.
The video would be muc more enjoyable with out the horrible -m u s i c ??--i had to turn the noise off ,so i could see some old trucks--boom boom bang bang ouch ouch-old &grey---
Absolutely. It's a local show across the river from Brownsville PA. They hold regular meetings and work details as well as have fun. Most everything there is privately owned but once you get to know the people anything is possible.
@fireman7415 Oh OK. Ohiopyle is about 45 minutes from me. I decided not to even bother with the steam show. I just don't feel like dealing with mud. 🤣 Hopefully the next one will be dry. How is the turnout?
I like those cabover semis. These days there aren't many of them left here in the USA. At first I didn't know why the number of cabover semis decreased & then learned it was because the length law changed which eliminated the need for them to pull trailers that exceeded the overall length limit.

Very nice collection of Macks. I would like to see some interior pictures of the B models, especially the sleepers. My first road tractor was a H model cabover with a 24" sleeper. I think it was a 57 maybe. It had a tri-plex that was almost impossible to shift. Thanks for posting
I have a 49 as well and plowed with it a couple of times for the novelty of it. . They are great machines! But I got soft and just went to the Bobcat with door, heated cab and halogen lights! And a bit faster, but enjoyed your video!

Nice machine! That engine is sounding very healthy. I bet it'll run for decades more. You definitely have a nice little compact utility tractor there that's the perfect size for snow removal. Only 12 HP, but that's plenty. I plow with a Kubota B6200 from the early 1980s (with 4WD); my plow is mounted on the loader. My tractor is almost the exact same size as your machine, it only has 3 more HP. It's great, far better than using a pickup truck, as it can easily fit into tight spaces and turns on a dime. This may be personal bias, but I do think the older compact tractors such as yours (and mine) look much better -- and more like big tractors -- than the modern ones in this size and HP range. The modern ones...IDK, they just look like oversized ride-on mowers. Just a quick question: how is that plow going up and down? Is it a lever running off the arms of the 3-point hitch?
Yes we fight them till these days over transilvaniamediagroup land. Wich is Dacia. We were there 2 thousand years before Magyars arrived in Central Eu. Yeap. Just crazy stuff
