Jay Turnbull you’re absolutely diluted my friend. Sharks are fish and you are an idiot. This species isn’t endangered, they boys are getting food more responsibly than you are. Look into factory farms. That’s where you get your food from. And if you’re a vegetarian, look into how many animals are killed to harvest your veggies.

Actually there is nothing illegal about catching and killing any shark on the California coast except white sharks... do your research before you harass someone about something you have no knowledge in.
If you don't gut and bleed it out immediately after it comes out of the water it is not any good to eat. Most all sharks piss through their skin with exception of a Thrasher Shark and a few others, so like all animals when they died they empty their bladder and the sharks meat is tainted with piss. Besides its cruel to drag this shark around and take pictures of it and let it suffocate to death. This shark is not good eating and should have been thrown back.
