Now with this new set of locs they are not even to my shoulders but it’s fine with me. I love them and I love me. ❤
Facts Sis. I agree that over the years I have gotten more love from strangers turned friends than family. It is bewildering but we have to acknowledge it and accept what it is. We don’t get to choose family but friends can turn into family in my opinion. I love myself and God. That’s enough for me. I’m my own best cheerleader always have been. Love your vibe. I cut my locs after 4.5 years in December 2022. I buzzed my hair a couple of times and started my locs over in June 2023 with about an inch of hair. I have had tremendous growth and the size of my locs are a bit smaller this time around. And I am about to start curly ends. Excited for this new journey. Congratulations on your new set. ❤
Hi I have a best friend who has a daughter Harper( she is autistic ) who I loved so much. I call her Hoppa Bop. She is so sweet and loving. She gives the best hugs.She stems and it does not bother me at all. I interact with her at their house, my house, and out in public. Parks, stores. We have not tried a restaurant yet but it’s in the near future. Hoppa Bop is 5 years old she goes to a school for autistic children and she has many learning tools. She is mostly non verbal but has different little motions or signs for things she wants like food or drink. She is a very picky eater. It’s a lot to do with textures. She loves bacon. 😂. I understand your need to protect your son. All parents should protect their kids. I sure did and mine are grown now. Daughter 26 married with a child. My granddaughter aged 7. I don’t look at my granddaughter or Hoppa Bop any differently. I just know I have to work harder to keep Hoppa Bop safe. Son 24 in the Army Active. I will continue to support all parents that try to keep all kids safe. Including your son and Hoppa Bop. ❤

I’m 14 months in to this 2nd loc journey. And I’m about to comb out my ends so they can be curly. I had my 1st set for 4.5 years and would like a different look this time around. Yours are beautiful. I have white hair and lost a lot of my hair from being sick last year. It's come back and inha e absolutely wild dreads which I love but they stick up everywhere. I made dreads and had been braiding over them but was worried about damaging them. So, I took them off. Will my own plump back up once I take them off or will it damage my dreads and keep them from locking at top? I really appreciate any help. Ty!

Just wanna say not all heroes wear capes!!!! I wanna THANK YOU🌸🌸🌸🌸. Im 7mo loc and im so unsure about my locs.... Im wearing a headband wig because im uncomfortable with how short my hair is ETC. I wanna wear them outside my home. Im so Grateful you shared this!
