Wow a whistling kettle!! Reminds me of my childhood with my Nan in South Wales. I remember the wind up “tick-tock” fluorescent alarm clock that rudely woke u up in the mornings, as you pull back the heavy woollen blankets, on brushed nylon sheets u climbed out of that high rickety wooden bed and stepped onto the freezing Lino covered floor , your breath breathed a “white” smoke to make a dragon proud, stopping for a moment to play with the ice that formed on the inside of the bedroom window over nite , then u hear the whistle of the kettle u go down stairs and smell the bacon and eggs being cooked in lard in the frying pan the hot water from the whistling kettle poured into the teapot which held three spoons of tea leaves ready to brew for five minutes, the tea cosy placed back ontop of the teapot while the tea brewed. Breakfast was served and placed on a tray along with ur tea filled cup on a saucer you went to the living and sat at the heavy table topped with a blanket underneath a delicate embroidered bright white starched tablecloth where u recited “thank you for the world so sweet, thank you for the food we eat, thank you for the birds that sing, thank you god for everything…” ending it with a loud thank god it’s over cos I’m starving “ARRRMEN!” Then u tucked in and ate your breakfast, took toast from the toast rack, buttered it with anchor butter that lived in a butter keep, all the while listening to the comforting tones of Terry Wogan’s voice on radio 2 playing music from ABBA, brotherhood of Man, status quo amongst others!! We didn’t have the comforts of today’s basic commodities, but everyone lived the same way. Happy memories❤
Loved this scary story reminded me of my grandparents and uncles sitting around a turf fire at night scaring us kids before going up to bed, our farm was `over the water` in Clahanelinehan
I have always admired mosaic art and twice a year we have bulk pickup and I'm always seeing old end tables and such sitting on the side of the road and I've always thought to myself what a waste. Thinking I may try my hand at making a few Mosaic items out of some old tables. What a way to recycle something trashed into treasure. Thank you for your presentation. You make it look fun and very achievable

Miach's gift of healing herbs to his sister Airmed...and the reason illness exists is the hubris of Dian. She couldn't find some of the lost herbs...and Miach consoled her to have faith in mankind that aren't from the bright world but, they too can be a shining one just as they were...and he was right. It's supposed to be a parents duty to instill all you can into your children and for them to have that power and to add to it thus becoming better still surpassing their parents. Sad to see this is still the case. Its part of my own story and in the last 8 years of my dad's life he came to me and apologized in front of many...but even though I forgave him long ago I wasn't aware of the pain I felt unconsciously. We had a bond in 8 years worth a life span a dad and son.
I am sad, some of your longer videos are gone. Start of Imbolic season or Saint Bridged's Day and you made Saint Bridged's Cross with rushes. Also our Groundhog Day.
Thank you for this simple, brief beginner's guide! I'm happy I stumbled on this video, it is much more accessible to me than the other "beginner's" videos I found that required lots of tools and know-how.
