@@deth3021 yes it is a constitution. A constitution means a set of rules that govern an organisation or group. So NZ does have rules that govern it. It’s just not all in one big document.
@@deth3021 Check out my video on the Bill of Rights Act and COVID-19 in NZ you will really enjoy it.ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3nqrNJfZJxo.html
Hello, that is very exciting! This is regulated by the New Zealand Law Society. I believe you will need to take 6 papers to do with NZ (property, torts, NZ legal systems etc.) and then you will have to sit these exams and pay a small fee. You can find out more through the NZ Law Society: www.lawsociety.org.nz/professional-practice/practice-briefings/overseas-lawyers-working-in-new-zealand/

😅😅I will just have to try madam, it's something I truly love. Even the books are sent to me as soft copies I have to print them at internet café with some money but that's life. I will rely on these videos of yours for help😅😅
That's a really good question! It's a bit loaded politically and depends on your viewpoints. Andrew Butler and Geoffrey Palmer think it would be better to have a codified constitution and wrote a book about it called "Towards Democratic Renewal..." A written constitution is less flexible but rights are more affirmed. So in NZ we can change quickly, which can be a good thing or a bad thing depending on the current political climate and whether the government is changing the laws in line with your beliefs or not. I would personally prefer a country with a written and codified constitution as I think it would be beneficial for both national identity and also it would more strongly uphold peoples rights in my opinion, so the craziness of the Covid laws wouldn't happen again. But that's just my opinion :) thanks for watching and your insightful question!
@@julieschmidtlaw Thanks for this, Im currently writing an essay about the for and against argument about NZ introducing a written constitution. This really helped me out😁
You're welcome, best of luck with your essay! My digital course covers a whole section on the constitution, you might find it useful. Thanks again for engaging in my content :) www.julieschmidtlaw.com@@toelokeni982
We have a constitution, its called 'He Wakaputanga the confederation of chiefs. Ratified on the 28th of Oct 1835. The New Zealand Corporation aka (NZ Company) NZ GOVT has the constitution acts of Westminster. He Wakaputanga is the written constitution.
Isn't the case of the lads damaging the yacht from Smith v Littlewoods 1987 where it was held that because the Officers had control over the boys, that did not constitute a novus actus?
No. Smith v Littlewoods is about something else: www.lawteacher.net/cases/smith-v-littlewoods.php Dorset Yacht v Home Office is the case I am referring to: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dorset_Yacht_Co_Ltd_v_Home_Office Thank you for watching and engaging :)
@@julieschmidtlaw Sorry, I worded it wrong. I know the lads damaging the yacht was Home Office v Dorset Yacht Co 1970. What I meant was, wasn't the idea of imposing a duty on one for the actions of third parties if they had control over the third parties first recognised in Smith v Littlewoods? Or was Smith pertaining to omissions?
Good girl and gd luck k, yes they cover their ass , I’m sure Key slipped in something about not being able to prosecute MPs as well. So if safe and effective product wasn’t just that, and harm and death accrued , and proven to be bio weapon in time , with knowledge withheld from the public about the coming event, and even hiding it be classified as treason . Hey just wondering k it’s just the test kits were in NZ in 2017
I would always say go for it. 25 is still young. You’ll be setting your family up for life if you do it. You’ll get through it. One child is easy as well. You’ve got this! You won’t regret it. By 40 you’ll be rich!
I entered in someone property. Cause I was being followed. Buy some individuals and was. Receiving. Therts through messages. So I knock. In the front door and on there back door so when the police arrived I try to explain to them. But they did not hear me out so I got arrested for attempted burglary. The only evidence I have I had made a non emergency report. That's documented. That was on 06/05/2023. I got arrested on 06/11/2023. Any advice u can give me would really appreciate. I have no o criminal record this. My first offense. And am going to trail pretty soon. And from what the judge said he wants to give me a year in state prison
TRESPASS TO LAND, NOT JUST TRESSPASS, imagine looking for a conversation covering tresspass as a whole, tresspass to persons, tresspass to land and tresspass to goods!!!
I have to say this video is giving me so much hope and reassurance. I am currently at University doing my masters and I’ve been thinking and almost craving a child in my life for years. However socially where I live and in my circle it’s basically shunned and we’re told not to have children at this time because where “just not at that stage of life yet”…. I feel abnormal for wanting a child … But watching this really makes me feel so much better about my own feelings - I totally resonate with all you’ve said. Thank you again for this wonderful upload !
Hi Andy, wow, thank you for this incredibly vulnerable and lovely comment. I am so happy you have resonated with my story and that there are other people out there like me 😊. I always came back to the idea that you can get anywhere in your career at any age, but there’s only one time in life when you can have children. I’ve been a full-time mum for a year now and I am so, so happy. I wish you all the best in the next stages of your journey, both with your masters and your personal life 💗
Hi lawyer I need your help I got trespass from my ex employer he doesn't want to me come back in there restaurant or another property which he hired for us is this any offence or what could you simplify bit it for me
The New Zealand Constitution is nothing but a huge Con...just like Australia's Constitution....a HUGE Con. I have studied BOTH of these Constitutions for many years, searching for just ONE Noun. Still searching!!!
