Awe man that sucks... how long have you had it? Is it less than 30 days? If so run to walmart and get the Allstate Protection plan add on warranty and then call them they will take care of it for you!! You have 30 days after purchase to get it.. its about $40 ... ALWAYS get the allstate add on warranty for this exact reason! .... Another reason is because if you have any issues with your item (and you will!!) Allstate refuunds or replaces it within a week or two.... and when they refund you , you get to keep the old product for Whatever you want such as Extra Parts or Fix it) ... I got my bike for free (pretty much). When i had an issue with mine. They attempted to have me go have a shop fix it. I Told them no i wont put the money up to have it repaired and wait for a reimbursement... They sent me a check for the priced of the bike and few days later i was able to fix the bike and it runs great now!. Morale of the Story: ALWAYS GET THE ALLSTATE PROTECTION PLAN. Especially on the itmes $20 and up!

If the above does not fix your problem, try this: Hold the start button down for 20 or 30 seconds. My red light went off, the lid opened, and the washer is fine now. I had an out of balance load and the washer shut off, this was the cause of my original problem.
I have an older washer. My lid was locked and the red light was flashing. I held the start button down for about 20 seconds and the red light went out and the lid released. I had an out of balance load and the machine shut off. Hope this helps someone.

My plug had to be abruptly pulled from the socket because the pipe behind was overflowing. Now my 'lid locked' sign constantly flashes and NOTHING is working! Anybody with suggestions?
One of my store codes blinks the sensing light but no other, then the second flash (e) flashes rinse and cycle complete (4+1=5); does this mean my code is FE5? There’s no number for F.
My washer hadissues with both the motherboard and the transmission. The repairman told me it was going to be too expensive to fix and that I should get a new one. He also told me about this video and I was able to reset it multiple times to get us through until we could afford a new one. Took a couple of tries but once I got it down it was fairly easy. I'm really thankful for this video and the repairman who shared it with me

Hi! how you doing method meets madness I have the whirlpool just bought it 2 yrs ago. I turn it on. it puts some water in then just keeps rotating the drum like it"s looking for the signal. i have recalibrated it multiple times. tried to retrieve codes and all i get is a flashing sensing signal. replaced actuator signal unit checked for sediment in water lines. capacitator works, pump works, what would you do next?
Didn't work on my Roper. Did before and it worked. I rebooted it for 15 minutes then Did exactly as you did. Stuck on final rinse that light just flashes off and on. Could be the mother board needs fixed.

The 5 headings on mine are Sense, Fill, Wash, Rinse/Spin, Done. First blink shows Sense, Fill, and Done lit up and the second blink only has Done lit. Mine won’t progress to the rinse / spin cycle after wash. What would you say the error code is?
The fix was starting by turning the dial 2 times counter clockwise not one. This resets a newer style Maytag washer about 5 years old. 1 turn counter clockwise didnt work. Thanks for the video
I did this and got into diagnostic mode. Then I did something wrong and had to hit cancel. Now I can't get it back into diagnostic mode. Any suggestions? I unplugged it for 5 minutes and still nothing.
I recalibrated the washer. No codes appeared. However, I washed a load and it started the wash cycle completely over after the spin cycle. Can you tell me why? Also, should both inlet valves be connected to a water source for these washers to function properly?
