I've always found it curious that AI creates animation that moves like we dream. Perhaps that is evidence of a conscience mind. Perhaps their perception is in a dream state, yet to wake up.
Soooo bad! first of all, U need to learn NOT to play loud music when text is spoken and secondly, If I want to see a cartoon, I will watch the cartoon network.
Cheers! It get easier every time I make a new film, it's really a matter of practice. Though finishing the project will always remain the hardest damn part :)
Thank you, that means a lot! Was worried it would wander too far due to the obvious visual flaws but tried to do it justice! Really need to replay some of the games though to refresh my lore knowledge, that's why I did not go into too much detail! :)
Made something smaller, faster than usual while I'm working on larger projects. Let me know if you like these type of videos too or only interested in higher quality stuff.
The VO didn't hold up, and the snarling beasts at the end kind of pull the rug out from under a more nuanced interpretation of the monologue. You're on to something, though. Keep at it!
Whether to post "Only higher quality stuff", you ask? I think I'd vote for what this film already has: "higher quality thoughtfulness". I partly agree with roysteves below(meaning I'd prefer the video ended 1:30 without the gore; both for intrinsic reasons and as it distracts, shifting the message) but I disagree with their suggestion that "the VO didn't hold up". For me, while a bit vague at start, it came together nicely as a sci fi concept (if you haven't seen the PBF cartoon "Reset", and want a quick chuckle on a lighter note on this theme, have a look!) with serious themes, and not the over-done doom and gloom of sci-fi but striving for something more, and maybe heroic..not the usual BS heroism of fighting and killing and "winning" and destroying or to conquer..but a real heroic endeavor. For these reasons, this video worked for me, so thanks (Been meaning to post since Sora and Lightricks, etc came out: the technical ability will increase for others to crowd the field; but you'll be in a valued minority if you continue being thoughtful as most of your videos have been :-)
@@hb-youtube Cheers, yeah I mainly meant as in quality of storytelling, the story is solid I think I just did not have the means to properly tie in the ending with some of the meaning. Aka no creation without destruction. The ending creatures were supposed to be more part of the ecosystem that comes into existence in a jing and yang fashion but did not flesh that out so they looked a bit goofy :) Clever comic by the way I checked it out. The field will get crowded and this type of content will stay at the bottom like it already is, so it's fine.
