Great cruise review. Sorry it was a last minute cruise (TY Vista... not) but glad you had a great time. Pam found somewhere else to eat when I went for sushi on the ship. So don't feel alone Tonya. 😅 Lastly, November 2nd... GO DUCKS!!!
Luckily for us there hasn’t been a large kid presence on our two cruises. We went in early February and early March so I believe parents didn’t want to take them out of school. Great video and tips! Thanks for sharing!
Charlie's back!!! We enjoyed our September cruise. Most kids were back in school. I believe we only had 33 kids total. And I may have liked that most went to bed early. Made for a spacious ship. No wait for drinks. 😂 John's 3am skinny dip in the hot tub doesn't have kids around. 😅
Yesssss sidekick Charlie made his appearance again! Glad your cruise wasn’t chaotic with many kids. John says if he did a 3am skinny dip everyone would want off the ship. lol 😂
@tjfun71 Great advice on locations to "get away." That's in part why we chose to upgrade to Havana on our Mexican Riviera cruise. A place to go if kids are kids at the main pool. They can have fun while we go relax. Oh ya, CONGRATS again on reaching 2K subscribers!!

@@dan36882 oh man if sloths were allowed in Michigan as pets I’d have one..lol but really my 3 dogs are all the fur babies I need and the big furry baby (John ) is more than I can handle at times..lol so, Pam says “NO” to ziplining? I said no the first time John asked me years ago when he went but now I absolutely love it. This one was truly extreme though. John even lost his sunglasses right off his face after the 1st line out of the 11 we did that day.
Been on Icon. It's just a merger of Oasis and Quantum. Really MSC Seascape is a more functional and more aesthetically beautiful ship.. although people rush to hype and size MSC wins on beauty and price. Plus its upgraded its food leaving loyal with the worst and cheapest food in the mass market space. I will put an asterisk by that because we haven't been on Margaritaville yet.

I have a friend who likes to take cruises on smaller class ships with passenger capacity of 300 or less. I would love it if you booked one of these smaller cruises and did a comparison video.
Never seen a cruise with only 300 passengers or less so it had to be a private booking or something I’m assuming. Those type cruises can be extremely pricey. I believe they are $10,000 or more for those type cruises.

Lovin the slide! That’s really cool. I enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and no urgency to be anywhere in particular on a sea day. Port days are great but adds a little more stress as to what times you have to be on and off the ship and for excursions. Sea days allow you to be more carefree. Great video! Looks like you both had an amazing time!
Thank you. Yes, sea days are fun! Port days aren’t too bad if you don’t have an early morning excursion. But very hard if you do especially when shows are so late night before. lol
Great forward looking and helpful information. I also hope you guys have stopped promoting Carnival Vista completely. THE CARNIVAL VISTA IS BROKEN AGAIN FOR THE SIXTH TIME. This is a 100% Carnival and Vista issue and the individuals that should be held responsible and FIRED on the spot are the useless CHRISTINE DUFFY AND JOHN HEALD. These two wastes spaces of individuals have given all women leaders and brand representatives a bad name. I was on this same horrible Vista ship when it broke the 3rd time. Week after week this shameless liar and corporate greedy woman, Christine Duffy would send out emails one day before embarkation to all booked guests stating that the ship had JUST developed a propulsion issue and that it was being fixed by Engineers on board...She and her corporate puppet John Heald LIED and sailed the ship week after week for 9 months. As a result ports of call were cancelled or we arrived hours late resulting in all shore excursions and destination visits to be cancelled, itinerary changes, etc. This is the height of shamelessness by Carnival and specifically these corporate thugs. It is very easy to stand on the sideline and point fingers at disgruntled passengers who are calling out the TRUTH that Carnival is running a scam with this Vista ship at the cost of thousands of guests week after week. If something like this happens to you then you will realize versus judging people who are suffering due to Corporate greed. I cannot insist enough everyone people - please write emails to John Weinstein the President of Carnival Corporation to fire Christine Duffy the Present of Carnival Cruise Line and this wasted space John Heald. This is simple unacceptable! SHAME ON CARNIVAL! SHAME ON CHRISTINE DUFFY! SHAME ON JOHN HEALD!
It’s sad to hear that guests are being treated this way. We were scheduled on the vista recently and a week prior to our cruise we received an email that our cruise was cancelled. We did get a refund and another free cruise to book at a later time but we had to scramble to find another cruise that same week that wasn’t already booked full. We were able to get onto the Royal Caribbean wonder of the seas for same week but the stress of having to change everything was ridiculous. They knew for weeks apparently that the vista had issues but kept boarding and sending it out only to cancel ports of call and ruin guests vacation plans. So sorry this is affecting you so much. Hope it won’t detours you from future cruising. Thank you for sharing this helpful information. We wish you the best on future cruising.

Next April 2025, 14 days on the Jubilee 😅b2 b, then Oct/ Nov 2025 14 day on the Dream Eastern Caribbean, our 2nd on that one, then January 2026 Dream Panama Canal 14 day. We actually have two yorkies and one dash/pom mix all rescues but little Charlie is the only one that lives for the camera..lol we made him our sidekick in some videos. @@tjfun71 only cruised out of Galveston. We live about 2.5 hours north of Galveston on Lake Livingston. My husband hates to fly. So we just go out of Galveston. My niece lives in West Palm Beach, so we have talked about driving over there and go out of Florida. I would love to go to Bermuda. Thank you again for answering my questions so fast. 👍👍🚢🛳️
We have been to Bermuda and do have videos posted from a while ago on Bermuda. My husband (John) would love to live near a cruise port for last minute cruises but I’m not ready to move away from my kids and my mother. We live in Michigan so we do have to fly out for any cruise. I try to answer all questions as soon as I’m able but during weekdays it may take longer to respond. We’ve met “Life with Favor” her and her husband Rob are also vloggers that live in Galveston as well. They are so kind and we can’t wait to cruise with them again. 🛳️😊

I’m truly not sure as we did not need to use the laundry or iron. So sorry we can’t help with this question. I know prior to Covid when we cruised on a different ship they did have laundry room and iron room.
