Would have been a far smarter move to keep the helmet on, keep the gender ambiguous and, importantly - irrelevant. Shoulda gone Master Chief. Especially in the first official thing we get showcasing a Custodes - ever. Instead, they made a horrible mess of things that's made the whole episode look like a woke invasion of a predominantly male hobby. Like your little sister crying to your Mum about not letting her play with the boys so now Darth Vader is doing Barbie's hair. And there's no point complaining because you lost the moment your Mum got involved and girls are girls and never stfu and they all stick together secretly. What they've done is drive a spike down the middle of whatever old, new, and may be fanbase they have, and split it in two. God Bless Henry Caville, the man gets involved with GW for projects so quickly and excitedly and the increased popularity and fame of the IP seems to have destroyed it for a lot of people. Just like the Witcher.... the man must feel cursed. But the curse is the internet. We're still in its infancy and are lousy at using it. Great power to create, great power to destroy, and both appear to have a kind of snowball effect to them that's just out of our control. Somehow, the online voices of the combined 40k community who wanted the lore to go unchanged, were outnumbered by gay people and feminazis who will probably not buy the models if they make them. And somehow, GW seems to have a similar landscape on the inside. And that's just sad. We've watched it happen to several things now. Witcher, 40k, even Tolkien's works are on the table for the butcher... There's only so much changing and mutating you can feasibly do of these things before they're unrecognisable.... and you're left with some kind of cheap Pakistani copy of the original.

I wont lie the Custodian looks weird her face seems misshaped like someone who took to much plastic surgery but considering the process of surgery it makes sense Also size isnt the Custodes supposed to be much larger than space marines? Like at least a foot taller? And the guardian spear doesnt it take like 12 men to lift? And the fact when she gave that absolutly insane order to the space marines even they were like wtf?
El problema con las custodes femeninas no es que hayan mujeres custodes, el problema es que hayan dicho que siempre lo hubo, eso si es lo que jode el canon, si hubieran dicho que ahora reclutan mujeres por la necesidad de crear mas custodes entonces si tendria sentido.
Is it just me or does it feel like they should have made the Custodes faster? They seem cumbersome and sluggish, especially against what the lore states.
