@@christophergonzalez273 yeah just jump it out it’s not even worth it honestly to replace considering the lights only get so bright anyway.

I would shy away from putting it on multi wire connectors because those keep the wires not talking to each other. I can see the benefit of having it on the plug and coil wires. The coil is the worst because the moisture gets between the laminated core and the winding's on the coil and that sends the spark to ground. Buying an ignition coil for these is a crap shoot because of these problems.

What was the issue
@tigers_cosmos2227
@tigers_cosmos2227 Год назад
moisture on humid and rainy days in the engine bay causing a no start. I finally went with ac delco coil and module. but what really changed everything was using the electric grease on all the connections so far haven't had one issue with starting in rain or humid days and is holding charge perfectly.

It could also be a broken wire to the module sensor

@@tigers_cosmos2227 I'll tell you the real source of your problem. That's just a band-aid, that will help, but it's not the cure. When you respond, it will notify me, then I will give you my phone #, then delete it. I live in WA. State, we deal with a lot of rain. I have two Astros, 1990 and 1999. The 1990 I never have problems, the 1999 is the sensitive one. The fix is soooo simple and easy! You don't have to remove the engine cover or crawl under. Never have to worry again. Complete confidence once again!

How can you be sure it's the idler pulley?
@tigers_cosmos2227
@tigers_cosmos2227 2 года назад
Well for couple reasons the sound completely went away after I did this initial repair. Plus before hand I would pray some WD-40 and for a brief moment the sound would dissipate.

Do you know the difference between the 4240 and 4250?
@hollaz2
@hollaz2 5 лет назад
Hey did you ever find out the answer to this question?
@chrisgagnon5768
@chrisgagnon5768 5 лет назад
Type Sss i think so. I believe the 4250 has 3 more combs and comes with a bag for the shaver. Other than that I don’t think there is a difference between the 2. I just went for the 4240 (blue one) as I just needed it to shave my head with a 0. So I don’t even use the combs. It’s cheaper
