Alles super.... ❤😢
The RHS Chelsea Flower Show in Great Britain is regarded to be the most prestigious flower show on the British Isles (it was also the largest, however the RHS Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival now holds this accolade). It is indeed an amazing show and for 4 days in the year you can be witness to stunning garden designs, gorgeous floral displays, and endless shopping (if so inclined). You could buy an entry ticket including 1 night accommodation starting from GBP 456 per person (roughly R 9.315) or a 2-day ticket including 2 nights accommodation starting from GBP 622 per person (roughly R 12.710). This does not include any Pimms nor Fish & Chips for lunch. After 4 spectacular days the show is at an end and that’s the end until the next show in the next year. Did you know that the British Isles (Great Britain, Ireland, the Isle of Man, Inner and Outer Hebrides, the Northern Isles and over six thousand smaller islands) is roughly 3 times the size of the Cape Floral Kingdom (Fynbos) and hosts approximately 1.500 species of flowers of which 25 are endemic - which means they grow nowhere else on the planet. Isn’t that amazing? Did you however also know that the Cape Floral Kingdom, which is roughly 3 times smaller than the British Isles has more flower diversity (per size) than anywhere else on the planet! > 10.000 species of which we have approximately 6.500 endemic - growing nowhere else on the planet. Just let this go through your brain again… Over 10.000 species of flowers of which +/- 6.500 grow ONLY here in the Cape Floral Kingdom, which we call Fynbos. And now comes the best part: you can enjoy this floral kingdom for 365 days of the year at LESS THAN HALF OF THE COST OF THE Chelsea Flower Show. From as little as R 4.950 per person per night INCLUDING 5-star accommodation, world-class cuisine (breakfast, 3-course lunch, 5-course dinner), many Grootbos experiences AND over 800 species of flowers! Yes, this special is for a limited time only; until the 30th of April. However, you can travel for LESS than what a Chelsea Flower Show costs you any time of the year and enjoy SO MUCH MORE. For me, it’s a no-brainer! Go and enjoy the Cape Floral Kingdom at Grootbos Private Nature Reserve!
Having visited Grootbos @Thetravellingguy cannot recommend them enough!! A Magical experience and the Grootbos Foundation are changing the way there community lives!! Well done.
Awesome, delicate dance - these giants with the boat..they know when to float, when to dive, and then execute their breaching with perfect timing, in perfect harmony with the boat and its humans next to them...
