I'm in Texas man, it's all good👍. Well, there is stupid location restrictions, but unjust laws are meant to be broken, so there's food for thought lol . Thanks for watching 👍🔪⚔️🗡️🇺🇸!
Thanks sir that's very appreciated! This knife is just so unbelievably vicious to wield haha. I thought my Ti-Lite serrated Kris blade was scary, and it is, but this knife just scares the Hell out of me lol. Thanks for watching!👍🔪⚔️🗡️
GSM’s Quality Control is Horrible. I recently received a Brand new Rajah 2 that was still sealed and I was missing a Handle Screw. All my GSM/Cold steel Knives have Chipped. When Lynn Thompson was the Owner that would not of Happened
Dang that sucks. My Rajah 2 blade chipped when I was whacking a mesquite log ☹️. I made a short video of it lol. I've used my Recon Tanto for the exact same thing but it's fine, no chips. It is also a GSM model, so make of that what you will lol. Thanks for watching!👍🔪⚔️🗡️
@@americanmutt7629 This knife is a Cold Steel 4MAX SCOUT. It has a 4", AUS-10a blade, a 6" Griv-Ex handle, and has dual thumb studs. It's the budget version of the more expensive 4MAX, which is identical but has an S35vn blade with G-10 handles.
The handle is not only very modern and trendy looking but also very comfortable! I haven't had a chance to do any real cutting with it yet but I'm sure it's a great value. Thanks for watching 👍!🔪🗡️
That's why I never bought any of those SRK knives from Cold Steel. Their SK5 sucks big time, it's brittle like glass & zero edge retention even their AUS-8 sucks.
Aww that sucks man lol. I will be careful. I also broke the tip on my regular SRK although I'm talking about just the very tip, barely noticeable but it was not fun lol. Thanks for watching!🗡️🔪⚔️
@@PerceptionVsReality333 Got it. Well, I just broke my Bushman Bowie style blade throwing it into a tree lol, Maybe their is something to what you're saying. You should check out the video 👍🔪⚔️🗡️. It just happened an hour ago ☹️😂.
I have both sizes of the SRK, and the Compact has become my edc fixed blade. The handle is a little thin for me but raquet tape sorted that out. It is nice and light, and I'm confident that it can get me out of a tough situation if need be.
It's so comfortable isn't it lol? I'm gonna attempt to use my C clip for belt carry, I'll see how it works out. I love the original SRK, and this compact version is just as good! Thanks for watching!👍🗡️🔪
I like the compact more than the full size. Which is very unusual for me, I normally prefer a bigger handle. It has better balance, its slicier, it just has a better overall feel. That tan looks great!
You nailed it! It feels so comfortable, I can't wait to get some use out of it. All I've sliced so far is paper. The tan not only looks great but was a little less expensive than the black handle from Midway! Thanks for watching! 👍🗡️🔪
A pretty good test! I have those blades (except the Vaquero) and that Counter point and Ti Lite pretty much devastated that "heavy bag"!!! I carry the serrated Counter point as back up. I never questioned it's reliability. And here you are proving it... Great video!!!
Thanks man! Glad you liked the video, it was fun! That serrated Counter Point is a beast👍. The boot knife shape is so iconic and they pulled it off really nice. Thanks for watching 👍🔪🗡️⚔️
Great video! Check out some Cold Steel fixed blades, not the most practical for day to day tasks but for serious use theyre punching outside of their weight class
Oh I have a few! I have yet to put them to real use except for my Recon Tanto, I absolutely love that thing 👍! I've made a short with it but plan to do a more extensive video at a later date. I also made one with the Magnum XL Tanto. Thanks for watching!👍🔪🗡️⚔️
Hey man, VERY NICE present you've gotten there! I ordered that very same knife today and next week, I hope to be feeling just as giddy and happy as you are today!!! Great video btw...
I have one, while I have made a spear or two, but never thrown it. It is a light knife and not suitable for chopping, That said, it will serve you well in survival or camping situations.
I purchased this exact knife about ten years ago. It was, by far, the sharpest folding knife out of the box that I have ever owned. Wish all knives came from the factory like this. Lethal.
All my buddies had the g10 large espada when I was a kid and I couldn't ever afford one. Now I'm a grown ass man and I'm about to to try and get one finally lol
@adrianfytr35 Mine came yesterday. I will make a Un-Boxing Video of it today. I can't wait to see my new Counter Point XL! You can't beat this price! It's worth I to buy extras to sell on eBay for twice the price, after the sale ends... Hmmm... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
Anyone have any lock stick on theirs?, mine only happens when flicking it out hard and then I just have to use lots of force on the lock to open it. I'm probably gonna take it apart and check it out maybe I can fix it
Well as I said, I wasn't splitting I was chopping,. The blade never hit the ground, I had it by one hand off the ground about a foot while chopping it diagonally.
All of Cold Steels Factory edges Chip. Once you put a new edge on it the blade won’t chip as easy. Whenever I get a New CS Knife I Immediately put my own edge on it and never have any Chipping afterwards
Little sandpaper in the groove a secondary convex edge and get rid of that flipper thingy,, any rough or accidental smack on it breaks the crew in the hole.. Great knife though one of my favorite outdoor folders.. 👍
Yeah I'm gonna sandpaper this one and my Spartan at som point this week. My sharpening skills are not even close to being able to put a convex edge, I'd have to pay someone for that. As far as the flipper thing, aww I love that thing😂. Thanks for the heads up about that screw 🔪🗡️👍
Excellent Video, Bro! 2 Paws Up!!! Man, it was still super sharp in the end... AUS-10A holds a good edge at 58 to 61 HRC. Well done, Bro, that Branch didn't stand a chance against you and your Rajah II!!! :-) I subscribed! :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)
@@jorgefernandez6407 Heck yeah man! I'm trying to carry it as much as possible but today I decided on my Voyager Tanto 👍🔪. Thanks , appreciate you man!
