Summer Dance Forever is an inner city hiphop dance festival where dancers from around the world gather in the city of Amsterdam, each year in August.
Seven days to enjoy an international dance feast, packed with the best of today and the great promises of tomorrow. Organized in several venues around town, expect a great variety of dance performances, next level battles and workshops to refresh and boost your skills. A true summer in one of Europe's hottest cities, soaked in dance, to be remembered forever. Forever...and ever...and ever... Next to the summer festival, Summer Dance Forever organizes the more intimate Weekender every year in February, with House Dance Forever, Clubbing Forever and more.
Na, Seiya did better in my opinion. I must say I don’t really like the messy/sloppy movements with some dancers. I know it is a style but it doesn’t do much for me.
Bou boo best forever.. Black ppl are the best dancers in the world.... And the Asian guy 😅😂 dance absolutely funny and stupid ever, those baggy pants 🤣
Years ago I was saying Bouboo, but now that I've grown in my knowledge of dance, I definitely see why Batalla won. I didn't have as much as a trained eye back then. That final round by Batalla was FIRE!!!! Sheesh!
Dang are ya’ll okay with Rama winning over Clemantine? Like come on Rama is talented but that round was not better than hers. I’ll be a bit critical here just to share some ideas. First Clemantine’s spins were controlled and fluid, where as Rama’s first spin ended up slowing down, and landed facing the wrong way. The second thing for Rama was the butt in the air moves, way too much. Then the form on the spin down to the floor when he transferred his weight over to the other side was not so clean, which looked like a bit of a flexibility thing. And lastly, what was that roundhouse kick at the end. Clemantine was strong, confident, precise with her form, increasing intensity as the music was building, she never panicked or overdid anything. Even at the end of Rama’s set, and every set, he’s getting ready to do another floor move (check out his later rounds) which could be a battle tactic, but for me it looks more like you are forcing it too much to find moves. Maybe these days it’s more about showcasing a variety of steps and moves, over form and aesthetics.
I don't get the debate. From my point of view it's pretty clear that Alex is the winner. Better technique, very clear, good musicality, changing levels. I think mostly the technique made the difference. It's not enough to feel what you are doing, you need to understand what you doing and Alex does that beautifuly
