Yeah but you got to remember the more robotic stuff y'all make the more human jobs are taken away so I would rather struggle with a mop and a bucket and a vacuum and I still have my job thank you
At video mark 35 Sec you say there is a spring action in the adjustment, I feel no such action also the Screw driver hole is so small the it seems impossible to engage the sensor with a screw driver tip so small. What is Your explanation?
Very well done. I really appreciate your thoroughness and explaining how to get everything done and I did a master cleaning of my sensor vacuum and it runs like beautiful. I think you need to say towards the end that the electrical receptacle on the machine part needs to be up in the air as well as the hose attachments up in the air so that when you slide the top down, it fits easy and it was no problem doing it, but it would’ve been nice to hear you explain it, but other than that supreme teaching skills thank you very much
I used to work in a Marriott hotel where we used these vaccums. They are very solid and strong. The only week point is the handle bar socket. Other than that they only ask for dust bags and rotating brushes.
I got an S12 from a thrift store and it seems hardly used. But there is a gap between the bag housing and it's cover. The latch works fine and the vacuum powers on. I've looked for any reason why theres a gap and find no damage or clue as to why there is a gap. Would you have any suggestions for me?
How does the adjustment work? I cleaned out the valve and vacuum works not, does not shut off, but sometimes the light comes on for a brief moment and goes off. I changed the adjustment while cleaning it out. How can I adjust it to specs or make it withstand a little more pressure? Mine just comes on sometime for a split second.
If you have a Sensor S12, you may need a new bypass valve. If it is another Sensor, you likely still have an obstruction or clog somewhere in the machine. Feel free to give us a call at (801)553-0788 and we'd be happy to walk through the machine with you and help troubleshoot.
Amazingly detailed and informative video. I was looking to see if there was a similar video for the other end of the connection that goes into the body of the vacuum , if I'm overlooking it in the playlist. Thank you!
Here is a link to the internal cable you'll need. Feel free to give us a call and we can walk you through the process of replacing it until we get the video uploaded. www.hproclean.com/internal-cable-40550
@@homeprovacuumctrs thanks. I should have. I ended up goofing up and inserting the terminals into the housing before realizing "oh yeah the cord needs to feed through first" Trying to find what the right tool to remove these terminals would be and hopefully not have to rebuy the replacement part again! 😢😆
The bypass valve is N/O when the vacuum is off or with a restriction, N/C with the vacuum running and normal operating conditions. If you jump out the bypass valve you can repair your vacuum for free and eliminate this "feature. I believe the average housemaid is intelligent enough to realize the bag is full or there is a blockage...if not...hire a new maid
@@aaydensclockworld9231 I don't know the name of it since it has been quite some time since this video was produced. Feel free to look at bensound.com and maybe you'll find it
Just basic tools from any hardware store will be plenty to do repairs on these machines. You'll need to contact your local Karcher rep for rug inquiries.
The door is on a spring hinge so it stays closed on its own. Its' purpose is to provide access to clear any large clogs or obstructions so the vacuum can maintain the proper suction.
If you're talking about the tower in the background on the right, those are machine brochures from Karcher. Reach out to your local Karcher Dealer and they should have what you're looking for. Have a great day!
You really should get an Orick because I don’t want you having backless vacuums backless vacuums of pain so why do we even use them and if you use backless vacuums the dirt will have a bunch of light which is going to suck I want her to have no light so why do we even use backless vacuums why are all macularis just bagged
Why when using this S12 it raises up while vacuuming you got to push it down with your foot so it makes contact with short pile. carpet. Then it will work its way back up..?
That is bizarre for sure. Do the numbers on the height adjustment change when it works itself to a different height? Generally, this machine should not do that, your pile height adjustment wheel may be damaged and not able to hold itself to the level it is being set at. Feel free to give us a call and someone can help walk through the issue with you. (801)553-0788
@@mwilcox2102 If there is no number dial, you are not using a Sensor S. It is likely a Sensor XP, which has an automatic height adjustment and will adjust to the best height for the flooring it is currently vacuuming. This is why it will move after putting your foot on it. We do NOT recommend putting your foot on the powerhead to get it to lower as it will break the height adjustment, assuming it isn't already broken. If the brush roller light on the top of the powerhead is not coming on, the adjustment is working as it should and it should be assumed that the height of the powerhead is the best for the flooring. Again, feel free to call with any questions or for more info about the vacuum you are using, (801)553-0788
When you dump a bagless vacuum doesn't it get dumped into a garbage BAG anyway? I'm not pouring it down the sink or going outside everytime to dump it either so Just do what works for you.....
Most people put it in the outdoor bin (well the ones I know in the UK at least). Which results in a cloud of dust poofing out of the bin, blowing all over your face and back into the house. Then that all happens again when they empty the bins as some of the loose dust, with all its micro plastic fibres and other stuff manages to escape the bin lorry as it inverts the bin. I'm not surprised in micro plastics being everywhere as the fibres off our clothes that we suck up just get blown around the environment when we empty the hoover. They then degrade into microplastics, literally its everywhere. Obviously there are other sources but this surely must be a main one. ONLY YESTERDAY did I think that emptying the bagless into a bin bag would resolve this! And when you think that, well you have re-invented the bagged vacuum cleaner... Over 25 years of using bagless by myself and when living with my parents, I have seen nobody use a bag to empty them. "Bagless", that's what Dyson told us in the UK in the 90's and thats what everyone seems to do.
Bagless is 100% better as the suction in bagged drops faster as the bag fills up but with bagless as many bagless vacuum cleaners have 2 filters the suction stays strong for much longer For example my Bush Bagless vacuum cleaner has 2 filters and I can get a good 6 or 7 vacuuming cycles from it before I need to wash the filters as the 2 filters on my vacuum cleaner are both washable
Well you might say that but any place you go to buy a vacuum cleaner will have way more that are Bagless and very few bagged machines so days are over for the bagged vacuum cleaner
Very similar. The SEBO is an exception as it is very closely related to the commercial Windsor vacuums. The SEBO has a residential warranty because it is generally not used for hours on end like commercial machines are.
I got to use one of these to vacuum a dining room at my nursing facility and I have to say it was nice. Albeit heavy it worked well I wish I could’ve used it on some higher pile carpeting
Most higher pile carpeting is not a friend to any vacuum. In fact, vacuuming high pile carpet usually voids any warranty on said carpeting. Sensor vacuums are one of the top commercial machines available because they last forever, and the heft helps with this. Good to hear you have had some good experiences.
The bag comes installed and therefore, is not necessary to be shown in a set up video such as this. The bag is very self explanatory to change out when the time comes. Follow those arrows and you're good to go.

On my XP 12 the brush light and the bag light started flashing ever so slightly. I ignored it because I had a fresh bush and the bag was empty. But today the Vac rumbles and squeals.. What could be the problem?
I took the bottom of the vac apart and I found the problem. Not sure if I'll be able to fix it though. it is the inside axle of the yellow spindle that came loose. It's a black piece that's held in place by two screws into the bottom of the housing.. one screw is missing completely and the other was completely lose. Got to make a trip to the hardware store tomorrow.
