Im so glad theres so many people on here saying too much money. Dude has good food. But not for the price. You can get bbq from the king of texas bbq ( Aaron Franklin) delivered to your home for half the damn price.
Best Chinese restaurant in Houston is Sinh Sinh on Bellaire. Timmy Chan is a chicken and rice fast food joint. It's been around for a long time. I still go every once in a while, just for nostalgia but the thing that stops me from going nowadays is having to get cash to eat there. They're so cheap they don't want to pay the credit card processing fees... Wing dinners also used to be $1.99 back in the 90's, they definitely got me through some tough times. So I won't ever have anything bad to say about the OTC
I went to Jones high school back in the 80s, I would hit Timmy Chans up with my friend, we would put our $3. oo each and get 6 wings and rice with extra gravy and extra roll. We would do it at least 3 times a week.
Oxtails are pretty much always gonna be tender, it's a rich meat very similar to pot roast except on a bone with a little more flavor. Les bbq meats have absolutely no smoke flavor, and that's what he brags about all the time. Stop saying you're going to put someone in the smoke when your meats are definitely not cooked from beginning to the end on a wood smoker. He videos himself like he's truly cooking the meat on a wood pit grill for captive viewing, but anyone that eats true bbq knows when the meat was cooked on an exterior grill because it definitely will present with thorough smoke flavor, particularly a rich thick meat like an oxtail. You should be tasting smoke all the way to the bone, but this is definitely not the case. His Oxtails just taste like regular Oxtails that you cook on the stove top in a pot with bbq sauce brushed on them. That's a summarization for the "Candy Reds." I tried them because I had become so curious about them, truly definitely not worth $149.00 for (4). I will never purchase again, and it took over a week to receive them without any shipment updates. I can't tell you how to spend your money, but everyone deserves to know the honest truth. It's definitely not worth the hype that's being portrayed.
He not lying, got my order last week, tho a little pricy they ABSOLUTELY THE BEST AND MEATIEST I'VE EVER HAD, dude definitely know what he doin, and them sausages slamming too ❤
This to everybody that is complaining about prices, meat is high, all barbecue is high because of how long it takes to cook and the attention to detail it takes to cook correctly. If it's too high eat cheap gas station barbecue. He ain't for everybody. ☠️
