Ain't nobody gonna put Lebron on their back while he takes credit for everything they do. I swear somebody could make a shot with Lebron on the bench and they be like Lebron made that happen...
how tf are you gonna put the Thompson twins, and just leave out Cade Cunningham (who 10X better than both of them and Ausar's teammate btw). former #1 pick and a 6'7 PG who cooked USA team in Las Vegas last year during their practice runs.
Currys 36 will be the key........ The 2nd highest scoring feat ever for USA players in an olympic game. Carmello once scored 37 in another TALENTED roster.. but that was in a blowout game vs Nigeria 156-80 or something. Curry did it being the only player on the team that had a huge impact on offense.
The only accomplishment that Lebron achieved is scoring more than 40, 000 points in his 20 year career and as MJ stayed he is not chasing statistics! Lebron hasn't achieved 6 titles, nor 10 scoring title, nor as many defensive players of the year titles as MJ, stop it, stop the nonsense. It's sad and pathetic that they have to lower the standards for Lebron to reach his standards, but it's not the standard!
Michael Jordan is still the GOAT. Nobody is going to knock him of his pedestal. Most certainly not LeBron. For MJ, 6 Championships in 15 seasons. For LeBron, 4 Championships in 21 seasons. MJ has a huge lopsided advantage vs. LeBron in Scoring Titles with a 10-1 lead.
Actually until Jordan tore his meniscus he was averaging 25 points per game and the team was on a 15-1 run after a poor start to the season. But they where off and rolling at the point Jordan got injured which he still played through. If he doesn’t get hurt they were on pace to win 50 games that first year. So LBJ is not really doing anything Jordan couldn’t do. He just got injured. Real nba fan know the facts
Most would pick Michael Jordan has the GOAT. And they may not be wrong. I focus on intangibles instead; those other players and coaches around you during your career. That being said, watching Michael play was like he was born with the ball in his hands. Michael was much more talented than LeBron. And there is no question about that. But Michael had one thing going for him that LeBron never had: SCOTTIE PIPPEN. Scottie was the greatest player no one talks about enough. Alone (I promise it wasn't Tony Kukoc) he had the Bulls going to the NBA playoffs almost every year after Michael's retirement to whoop my beloved Knicks. Soon after Scottie was traded, the Bulls collapsed. This is to say that, without Scottie, Michael would have NEVER EVER won 6 NBA championships. On the other hand, LeBron is a much more rounded player and an overall better player. And each time LeBron leaves a team, they collapsed, because LeBron has always been the team. If LeBron had someone the caliber of Scottie, he would have won at least 8 championships! Unfortunately for him, Anthony Davis is too injury prone and too inconsistent to be reliable. That Being said, I totally agree that LeBron is the GOAT and there is no question about that.
Man dont compare 39 old MJ to a 39 old Lebron.. MJ played for different reasons. MJ came back from retirement and made from the wizards a play off candidate untill he got injured, and he wasnt even playing for the play offs he was playing to able to aqcuire shares of the wizards and was still putting up insane numbers and was carrying his team, Lebron at the lakers wasnt even the best player that was AD without AD they wouldnt even make the play offs. Stop comparing MJ and lebrick cause it aint even close.
Michael came back at the age of 39 after three years of retirement. And I cannot name any professional athlete who came back after such a long time and be still able to compete at an elite level like MJ did. This is almost not possible.
Labron is not the Goat. the Fact that Labron already got Bronze Medals in the Olympics. this Goat debate is over. Jordan never got Bronze, always Gold.
