Ok how do you actually counter Blind Spot as someone on the recieving end? Is there a secret vulnerability I'm missing? Because not only does it get around shields, it seems to act as both a dodge and an attack - if someone's swinging at you, you can use blind spot to evade and punish in one move. Can it even be parried?
Only way I have seen is by anticipating the attack. People tend to roll away from attacks, but you should roll forward and immediately punish. There is small window of opportunity once the attack misses, for you to try to punish. Edit: and just today, they nerfed the vulnerability window
Some of us are bad man. It’s my first souls game and play-through and I waited till near the end of the base game to try pvp. I didn’t think about the level matchmaking and everyone hits me before I can even do anything. If I dodge they just do the stabbing thing and I cant get away no matter what 😩
Never understood why players hardly equip the bloodhound step with the greatsword, because it’s a slow weapon it only makes sense u equip it with the step to move faster
Someone who gets it, if you attack right as the game starts, your a lil bitch who needs the advantage to even have a chance. Always bow or wave, we honorable in this arena
I can’t stand it when someone is dishonorable in arena. It’s a long standing tradition in souls games. I even “try” to wave and say hi in invasions, but don’t expect it back.
@@crusaderofsouls I consider invasions fair game, if they wanna try to beat me up in spawn i-frames, that's fair, I'minterrupting their game, but being courteous is a vibe I can understand
For those not aware, the guy slowed down his use of the blood move, making his opponent think that his enemy can only do that blood move every second and a half or so, so he looked for what he thought was an opening and took it, unbeknownst to him, that’s exactly what the blood swordsman wanted, as his enemy moved in to take advantage of what came to be his trap, he upped his frequency speed of the move thereby trapping his enemy in close combat taking 3 key hits once right after the other. This player (person) is very skilled tactically. If anyone thinks he’s just a camp spammer with no skill. 😂 then you have no idea what a skilled gamer looks like.
I appreciate it, but I don’t listen to these haters. When I play colosseum for a few hours every night, using 3 different builds, and only lose 2-3 matches that whole time…. I already know who I am and what I am capable of.
But he was spamming it just before. It wasn’t skillful because it wasn’t even an intended strategy. Just looks like the opponent was dumb and the netcode sucks
