while you can think of it as a constant 6/4, i prefer to think of it as alternating 7/4 and 5/4 each measure because that's how the song feels like it's divided into
Focus is the will to succeed. "Hypersurface" by《FAINT Moonlight》is the last and arguably most difficult level in this constellation, featuring a fleeting chart with frequent distractions on a pilgrimage to restore a fading world's color. This level is such an incredible display of FAINT's ultimate final challenge, with hints of patterns from prior stars scattered across the system, as well as how the VFX follows a recurring call-and-response theme from Grigori Poincaré's bot-like BGM. The "crescent eclipse" section with the scrolling screen tile effect is probably my favorite part of the whole tournament, with my second favorite being the infinitely-recursing screen tile segments. An effect. The world starts to recover. After the level reaches its cathartic climax, taking skill and stamina *Beyond* what was once possible, the pulsing heart at the end seems to reflect a kind of attachment to the creation and reception of the first FAINT tournament and all of its certified banger levels!! Two comets can be seen orbiting a nearby star... Would they be worth a visit?
the non-tournament version originally had "when the surface is, hyper" at the endscreen and the creator alias was "bearers of the surface" because why not

As your journey comes to a close, memories of prior ones come to view... "Five Forgotten Stars" is a remix of the official level XO-X One Forgotten Night, featuring an original song and chart by KAERRA! Out of the three Tier 4 levels in this tournament, this one is undoubtedly my favorite - partly because XO-X is my favorite main game level but also because of how this level is inspired by Star4th's design. Quick quintuplets in the shape of stars shine as they're played, soon to become played one after another forming newborn stellar figures - a lovely homage to the nostalgia brought by the original, but with one extra subdivision. This certified banger(!!) level by《Wavering Starlight》is a great choice for those looking for a celestial experience without too much difficulty from pure speed. Through this passage, the very colors of the constellation start to fade... Are you still ready for *anything?*
cannot get over how fun this level is probably my favorite FAINT level gameplay wise honestly and the visuals are so nice as well with the whole thing with the patterns being used to create other shapes once they get hit, the level is very well made all around
