BMS offers a level of mission-oriented realism that DCS can't match. DCS is good, it's great for daylight eye candy, but for hardcore simming, BMS all the way. You'd have to join an Air Force that flies the F-16 and get accepted into the F-16 pilot training pipeline to get a more authentic sim experience.
THIS !! I say exactly what you commented a lot. both have there qualities but like you said the mission oriented realism behind BMS is what keeps me away from dcs. and I own A LOT of modules and still continue to buy them but when I want to sim I get on BMS
I’m a little late to respond but, they are called conformal fuel tanks, they are used to store more fuel. The F-16, F-15, and maybe even the F-18 use them.
Coming from dcs, what's with all the different tracks in the had. Green and yellow crossed over icons. Anyway to clear / de clutter that and only see actual emitters? I find it hard to actually lockup the correct emitter
Jump up, hook up, shuffle to the door. Jump right out and count to four. If that chute don’t open wide I’ve got another one by my side. If that chute don’t open round I’ll be the first trooper on the ground.
@@pancakeoperator It asks me for activation, I only download in the C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft path, but when I open the dcs world it indicates not active(C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft). or do I have to install a previous version?
@@CarlosEstebanHuamanCandelario wrong place once again, follow instructions User/saved games/dcs world open beta/mods/aircraft You are putting into your installation directory which is why it’s saying that
I installed on my laptop no problem. Installed on my desk top won't work. Ran repair, check updates uninstalled and reinstalled. Then i was told people having problems running. Do you have any suggestions. thanks
I reinstalled v5.3 then overwrote it with v5.9, I can get cargo to eject mid-air on parachute but the troops refuse to leave the safety of the airframe. Obv failed in my paratrooper training 101.
Cool stuff. Just curious, when you landed on the island it seems that the right part of the aircraft seemed to go lower than the left part of the aircraft? Landing gears not fully extended or the springs adjusting to impact on the right side?
Cross wind landing had a part in it, landing gear were extended and I think honestly user error I had the plane banked from what I’m looking at coming in at the last second before touch down. Sorry if it gives you the wrong impression but she lands straight and quite good even with the loads
@@pancakeoperator Its fine. I was just being curious. No bad impressions. Its a big one to fly and to keep straight compared to all the smaller aircrafts. Also crosswind does explain alot 👍
