While the casting choice is great, I'm pretty sure that was debunked on Twitter. As for Spider-Man 4, I’m hopeful that this is still just a bunch of rumors, considering none of them (particularly regarding the director) were even close to what THR released earlier this week. Not to mention, I honestly don't care about these films or the SSU as a whole. Fingers crossed we get a grounded story. 🤞🏾
Honestly, I don’t believe the rumor as much as most people and will remain reserved until some official news comes out. I remember the week before this rumor, people were overhyped because they saw another rumor and thought they officially casted Black Cat (despite the rumor being over a year old) and now people are infuriated over just another rumor. 😒 At this point, patience truly is a virtue. 😂 That being said, fingers crossed on it still being street-level for I couldn’t care less about what Sony is doing with all of their spin-off films (Spider-Verse animated films are the exception). Sorry if this was lengthy, but hopefully, it got the point across and I look forward to more of your pitches, particularly for your Spidey College Trilogy since I loved Part One. 👌🏾
UPDATE: So we finally got confirmation on who's actually directing the film, Destin Daniel Cretton. While he was not my preferred choice (mine were either Adil and Bilall from Bad Boys or Daley/Goldstein from D&D), I'm still excited with what he'll bring to the mix. While I enjoyed Shang-Chi (particularly the action), I’m hopeful that he gets to bring more focus on the dramatic and grounded side of things, considering that's what he directed before joining the MCU (really enjoyed his work on Just Mercy).
I agree with everything you said In this video they should of waited for the multiverse and insted do the mutant saga ( and I get it marvel mostly wanted to start the multiverse saga now before so we can have all the cameos for secret wars before all these legacy actors form past marvel movie get to old ) but i still think it would of made more sense to introduce the mainline Xmen and F4 awhile introducing new Avengers & hero’s.
