They used to store all the bonfire stuff in my grannys backyard, at greenwalk. I remember going out the res with my uncle to chop wood. I remember being about 6 or 7 running about melmore gardens during bonfire night, it was great craic and great memories.
wonder do you get cheap rent or get to buy cheap when you have a big mural stuck on your wall coming from a protestant background myself i would not have any loyalist murals on my wall ww1 or ww2 yes especially Londonderry with its history battle of the Atlantic convoys etc etc a very important period in the city's history with both sides fighting side by side in the carnage of world wars 1 and 2
It is a City with a proud WW2 history, especially Naval history. I am from Liverpool myself and my Father sailed in The North Atlantic Convoys, going to Murmansk and Archangel in Russia. Excellent Video, thanks 👌.
