Kind of late...but... Truly do miss the original Pixar Play Parade. I remember hearing the announcement of Pixar Fest and hoping the parade in DCA would be the original. Though, what we got isnt...terrible I guess. Great and informative video as always! Hope to see more Remember the Magic vids coming soon!
Glad you finally talked about this parade. I adore it with all my heart. And I'm glad you like Better Together, it honestly is judged too harshly. So uh.......What are your thoughts on Together Forever 2.0? Just asking.
Hey did you hear about that new electrical parade that was announced for Walt Disney World at D23 that’s coming next year as long as it’s not another light magic im hooked
Thank you for using that particular design for your thumbnail. My great-Uncle was the artist who drew it and it's always nice to see his work carrying on.
Yes that was a wired switch when they send the pixar play parade to DL during the pixar fest. I kind of like the pixar fireworks but I felt they should have keep the pixar parade and also paint the night parade dur to having the pixar character in the parade at DCA and maybe do a world of color call world of pixar using the soundtrack they use for the pixar fireworks. I know that DL would be fine cause they would have the day and maybe night time parade and also there fiirework show and fantasmic.
Even though the parade is (sort of) gone now but this parade putted a special place in my heart. This was one of the FIRST parades I seen in the parks and this holds the special underrated parade list I have. This, Soundsational, Paint the Night, Electrical Parade just are such a classic and ive never get tired of them.
Out of all of the parades discussed on the channel, the Pixar Play Parade holds a dear special place in my heart. Between 2009 up until 2018, my day at DCA would never be complete without watching all those street performers dancing, so many characters waving to the crows in glee, and that iconic soundtrack who's originated from Mickey's WaterWorks at Hong Kong Disneyland. Better together was okay, but it needed some fine tuning with the music especially when they could've used the melody of Harmony in Color instead. Either way, great vid
@@dansrandomvideos2515 Dream and Shine Brighter? I adore it. As a secondary show it’s a fantastic little street party leaps and bounds better than the sad excuses of the concept magic kingdom used to run. It’s not a full parade and it’s not trying to be, they desperately need a new one
@@stepintothemagic2035 The only thing I feel would have made it better is giving the floats the type of investment that those in million splashes of colour were given rather than using two parade loading staircases and the stairs from the old Christmas tree lighting ceremony. Then again I imagine Paris being Paris and COVID probably not being a good mix to get stellar funding.
Three years, huh? I'll say it was well worth the wait... quite surprised you didn't automatically fail after mentioning the MSEP for the infinity time. (Happy belated birthday by the way!)
"That's a piece of garbage, I can do better than that" is exactly what I think after seeing Luminous. It's really simple: original instrumental music, and Epcot-centric messaging. I don't know how they keep messing it up. I still donthave much hope for Disney within the next decade or so, they're really destroying it beyond repair. The only way I see Epcot and Disney as a whole improving is if all the top people and the company are completely replaced with ones loyal to the original vision. I feel like unless the company went through an extreme overhaul like that, we'll be stuck with IP and pandering, but maybe just maybe Epcot will get another overhauk when it inevitably ages poorly in a few decades. If the Disney leadership is the ways its been trending by then, then its dead. If the Disney leadership is ousted and replaced with actual Imagineers with a vision rooted in classic Disney, then I could imagine an Epcot overhaul thats both new and reminiscent of classic Epcot, and that includes getting most of the IP out of the park.
Great video! Usatama, Dream Lights, and Dreaming Up, even during covid with no dancers, were all still incredible. Dreaming Up with dancers has got to be number one! And it would've been great if you had played the Usatama song.
