Hey bud been watching ur videos on the rv transport are u still doing it no just looking for a few pointers looking to try it out from what I have read and researched
I am no longer doing RV transport but I did very well when I did. When Covid hit the parts shortage also hit so things got slow. But from what I been hearing it’s picked back up tremendously
Hello sir, I just came across your video and saw your comment on doing local work. Just curious, did you find that RV transport was not a good opportunity? I have been considering it for a bit but waiting for the fuel prices to normalize a little.
Sounds like we have alot in common. I am an OTR driver from Indiana, and I want to get out of the bumpy truck. I have a Chevrolet 1500 with v8. Do I have options with this truck??

I invited her along. That changed her mind. No driving but submits invoices, checks weather and wind, construction delays and gas prices in advance. Not to mention the company. We are planing on visiting Mt. Rushmore, grand. Canyon, the Alamo, DC, and all our family in TX and southern east coast

Yes sir. And sometimes we have our own baggage and don’t respond well to those tests and sometimes we do. But God never gives up on us. And he is bigger then any situation and is real good at saying alright let me handle this for you and you learn something. As you did. God bless ya and stay safe. I have been transporting horse trailers for 3.5 years now and DOT has looked under my hood 3 times to make sure my emissions system was still in place.

any thoughts on starting out with a leased truck? I want a new or newer truck but don't want to spend 60K. I am doing drive away now and saving some money.
Man that’s a good question. From what I hear other people say it’s 2000.000 a month to lease. I don’t know. If you could lease for around 1500 or less you may be ok. The key for me is keeping expenses down. And profit margins up. But , you could save money if you leased and didn’t have the maintenance. I would call enterprise and get some prices. As for me I am in it for the long haul. So I went with a newer model truck. Good luck bro!
I’ve seen several videos on RU-vid going over numbers. One example was a guy ran 140,000 and grossed 116k. So .83 cpm multiplied by 140,000 miles totals $116,200 after expenses(fuel $24,000, tires $1,000, insurance $4,200, maintenance $6,000 and $13,000 total truck payments) I think it left roughly $67,000 net after those expenses. So .48 cpm (for all miles after above expenses) x’s 140,000 miles equals $67,200. RV transport isn’t a get rich job by any means. Each individual’s situation is different so if it works for one it may not work out for another.
