OMG all Indians will post comments about touching the floor and namaskar. The probkem with indians are we all think ours is the best culture. Everyone has their own culture. Dont pat your back for every small thing. If wlour leg touches someone we Apologies to them, but not for hand or other parts of the body. But in western country they consider all body part has important. I am saying this as an indian. Just give the comments for the performance. Keep your tradition and culture with you and dont feel proud for all thar small things. For others it looks funnny
🕺🏾 In each pocket, I carry the voice of four tongues, My alphabet whispers, its letters mostly silent, save for thirteen beneath the queue, Yet I must return twelve to their silent abode, So I may offer back your chosen sound.

my guess is he had someone in the table look for the card they chose. and while the cards were on the table spread, the person wrote the word on the back and put it through the tabletop under the cover of the cards carefully. that is also why it took awhile for him to find it, giving the person careful time to do it without notice. That is my guess
In youtube is easy to recheck special moves, but for P&T is hard to do it there. Maybe they believed on the "discarded" cards being still between the blanks
They key is the silent letters, he induced the black suit, and then was hipnotice before the show, so he would say jack, that is why he was drinking Daniel’s whisky and had his jacket on
Is it possible that the fact he put focus on the word "Island" and "queue" unconsciously made the 1st presenter associate Island with treasure and as such spade for the suits and the other 2nd presenter associated all the previous cues of island spade treasure pirate and the subtle queue for the actor Jack Sparrow for his choice of card. Was more unconscious suggestion and associations that directed their minds to pick the jack of spades...Anyway if it was the gamble paid off if its not it was an amazing trick .
Run the video at 0.25x at 3:09. You will see him throwing some cards into his jacket pocket. My guess is he had a bunch of cards labelled 'queue', he picked the jack of spades from these, and put the rest into his jacket.
