Is this disabled in the free version? I've tried this a number of times and it seems I can only get the total signal to rout no matter how I change the routings inside the ssd 5.5 interface. I'm at a bit of a loss and wondering if its because I have the free version?
It looks great but yet too expensive. If I were to spend that amount of money, I would choose to buy a Behringer Wing or a PreSonus StudioLive 32. Used ones are cheaper than the Raven and I prefer mixer tactile feel than just a screen touch
Steven slate should release a metallica expansion pack. But an ultra realistic one like, for example... it should automatically put any drums you program off time and change all your fills to staggered snare rolls...if you want authentic metallica drum sounds, make it play like lars and have it frustrate you like he does James. So realistic! It should even have a built-in voice simulation of Hetfield and when you make a mistake he says, "could you maybe play something better?" And if you make a cool beat, he screams..."yeah!" Repeadly at you. Maybe technology isn't there yet...but...one day.
@@TheJerryherry I mixed inside, yellow matter studios, and I attempt to stay just there and make sure it sounds perfect there before going over to the cars to make sure they sound good. Once that’s all good and dandy. I make sure I check out on the iPhone and then the last step is Mike Dean‘s room and the club. But usually if it already sounds good in Mike, Dean‘s car, it sounds good everywhere else.
I don't know if this will help anyone out there. But I bought a Roland TD-27 a while back and just purchased SSD5. For the roland users out there try using the TD-30 preset even if that is not the module you currently have. From what I understand Roland maps there drums pretty much the same from module to module. I was struggling to map my drums on my td-27 when first using SSD5. Out of desperation, I tried just clicking the TD-30 preset mapping and it fixed it. I have zero issues regarding mapping now. My kit is automatically ready mapped and set up the way I like. I don't know if this will work for every Roland module out there. But it worked for me.
Can anyone help me with the "How tight is the clamp force in the VSX"? I've been meaning to buy one good pair of headphones to use for longer sessions, and my biggest complain with my current ones are precisely the clamp force. It annoys me so much that I'd even prefer something with a little less quality, in order to avoid fatigue. Then, I found VSX, which seems to deliver a lot more for less. If it is indeed comfortable, I'm totally sold.
Mine arrived yesterday, so it is not a long-term review. The clamping force is ok, with no pressure, but TBH, the ear cup itself could be bigger and deeper. I have a small head and average ears, and it seems ok, but I wonder how people handle it with big ears. Overall, I think it is ok, but again, this is a less-than-a-day review.
@@whatsupchicken I’ve been using mine for almost a week now, and I definitely love it. I start to notice the comfort usually at the 5th hour of using them… I absolutely love it! Thank you very much for the help!
