Paid Memberships Pro, the most complete WordPress membership plugin: paidmembershipspro.com
Sitewide Sales, the only all-in-one flash sales plugin for WordPress: sitewidesales.com
Memberlite, a lightweight membership site theme for WordPress memberlitetheme.com/
Hi @oscarcreativedigital. There should not be a paid Add On required for this. As long as you have PMPro, WooCommerce and the PMPro WooCommerce Integration, you should have the discount option in your membership level settings.
Hi @TheMagikeyes. You can style the email by editing the Header and Footer templates. www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/member-communications/email-header-and-footer/
Hi @TheMagikeyes. You can test emails within the individual email templates. www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/member-communications/customizing-email-templates/#h-how-to-test-pmpro-emails
I appreciate the greater communication by SS/PMPro with its users, particularly via these videos - thank you! Personally, I would love to see one for each plugin update, even minor releases. For example, for the 3.2.1 release, there is an enhancement which states: "Improved the print styles for frontend pages. #3158". I would love a short video explanation of exactly what was enhanced, along with all the other features and bug fixes. Thank you for your consideration. [[dog treat]]
I’m encountering an issue with my blog post setup. I want to create a section that allows only paid members to see the full post. However, when I add the block, it only restricts that specific section, and the rest of the post remains visible to all users. What I need is for this block to act as a content cutoff-allowing users to see a preview but hiding the rest of the post unless they’re paid members. Is it possible to achieve this?
Hi @surajbhadola9399. In Advanced Settings, you can allow non-members to show post excerpts. After doing this, rather than using the content restriction block, I recommend you restrict the entire post or even the category. This will show the appropriate members the content while only giving teaser content to non-members or those not logged in.
Worthless buggy plugin, the plugin isn't creating any new roles tried over a dozen times, the plugin creates 0 roles even when selecting specifically create a new role, it creates 0 nothing nada, i hate uggy non functional plugins so much !!!
Hi @ceramics1585. Please see our documentation for this Add On. Paid Memberships Pro is required to use the Add On properly. www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-roles/ If you need assistance, we would appreciate you reach out to us at www.paidmembershipspro.com/support or www.paidmembershipspro.com/contact.
Is this mandatory or optional for multisite? Our situation requires woocommerce for selling Memberships and each subsite has its own checkout process. Can pmpro be setup on each a subsite individually like this?
Hi @jordankhan2540. Yes you can just activate separate PMPro membership sites on each subsite. They will not talk to each other this way, though, but it will be on “network wide” user list. To see members lists, you would go to each distinct subsite. www.paidmembershipspro.com/membership-website-wordpress-multisite/#single-site-membership
Hi @rahimjamaddar. Stripe offers many international payment methods, which may be an option for your region. Take a look at the Payment Gateway Add Ons for more gateways that integrate with PMPro. www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-on-category/payment/ Or to develop a new gateway, read how to add a new payment gateway option to PMPro.www.paidmembershipspro.com/gateway/adding-a-new-gateway/
Please I need help, after setting up the PMPro, and try to visit the checkout page, displayed empty fields, but when I added some fields to the group, they displayed in the checkout page right side bar, but the main page is empty, what can I do please. Or wont the checkout for displayed in a localhost server like AMPPS? I will appreciate your great response 🙏
hi there , i cannot find the addon Multiple memberships per user like David did in the video. searching in the free add-on list of membership pro plugin, there is no mmpu to be found. please help
Hi @breakoutyouu. The MMPU Add On has been merged into core. You can now allow members to hold multiple levels with Level Groups. www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/membership-levels/level-groups/
Hi, Thanks for the demo. I noticed when you clicked the videonplay button that the video stopped and buffered twice in the few seconds of playback you showed. Is this a common problem with Bunny?
Am I doing something wrong? I set this up, but the fields do not seem to store the information entered by the person submitting them, they're all just blank, even though the fields were filled in
Hi @RudivanderWalt. I believe Sam answered an email earlier today from you and I see your reply. We are working to determine how to best guide you. Thank you for your patience.
"I'm using your paid membership plugin on my website, and it's working great! However, I want to add a custom feature where each member has an additional page within their login account that displays files specific to their account. Is this possible?"
Hi @Myself-m4k. You can use our User Pages Add On if you want each specific person to have a unique page just for them. www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-user-pages/
Thank You for updating your PMP tutorials as your versions change. It makes such a big difference. I was just on a video of yours from a year ago on this topic and was really confused because the options shown were different from what I have in PMP. Very few companies keep up to date as you guys do.
Hi @rememberingyourperfection. In recent updates to PMPro, that option has been removed. I will make the Marketing team aware of the outdated video. Our apologizes!
@@StrangerStudios - good to know. I was about to tell you your documentation online is also wrong -- but I just checked and today it is correct. I spent so much time on figuring this out. This is what was here yesterday (or maybe it is on some other page? but this is what I copied over last night): "Update Billing Flow: Select “On-Site” to have users update their payment information on the default Membership Billing page, or “Stripe Customer Portal” to redirect users to update their billing info directly in Stripe. The Stripe Customer Portal is a page hosted by Stripe that allows users to see active subscriptions, update billing and tax ID information, and view or download previous invoices (does not include one-time payments). In order to use this feature, you must first enable it in Stripe." Can you direct me somewhere where I can find out what the correct options are now? I'm really confused at this point. Btw, the old video is still on that page, though. [stripe check-out documentation page]
Hello @rememberingyourperfection. You can find all of our Stripe documentation here: www.paidmembershipspro.com/gateway/stripe/ The page you are referring to has been updated with the correct options. It takes time to update the video but it is in queue.
Thanks for this Video! I would like to use Pmp Checkout still but somehow with your stripe gateway it only shows me Creditcard Option. Why not SEPA for example? I really need SEPA
Hi @Baroo98. Payment options are set within Stripe. If you need more assistance, please reach out to us at www.paidmembershipspro.com/support or www.paidmembershipspro.com/contact.
Hello. I've installed the plugin and I'm using the default course functions (not an LMS) I have a couple of questions... On my course page I don't have the lesson list at the bottom of the block editor. Instead it is squeezed into the settings column on the right. Also I can't seem to get the lessons to display in the sidebar. I opened the course page and tried to change the template but there is only the default available. I have linked some images to explain what I'm talking about. Many thanks. Tony
Hi @TonyGoesGlobal. Unfortunately, I do not see your photos. Would you mind reaching out to us at www.paidmembershipspro.com/support or www.paidmembershipspro.com/contact so we could assist you?
Hi @oscarcreativedigital. Our Courses Add On is a free Add On. You do not need a premium membership with Paid Memberships Pro. www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-courses-lms-integration/
@@StrangerStudios yes i use the Courses add-on but my course is built with LearnDash - it seems i can only link course to memberships via custom post types which is the standard license. Ive spent 5 weeks watching tutorials and only just found this out :(
Please see our documentation on how you can restrict courses with PMPro and LearnDash. It should not require a premium license from PMPro. I am unsure about how LearnDash handles licenses and fees on their end. www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/learndash-integration/
Thanks for this very informative webinar for newbies like me. How can I make sure that anyone who is not enrolled in a course does not see the syllabus for any of my courses before purchasing? I will have many courses and I cannot have them see the 'name' of each lesson of each course beforehand.
Hi @oscarcreativedigital. Each membership level will have their own checkout page. Here is how you can directing link to checkout if you would like: www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/frontend-pages/membership-checkout/#h-direct-linking-to-checkout-page-for-a-specific-level-in-pmpro
Hi @ZachWilde-vq6rn. Not with Oxygen Builder. See all the ways you can restrict content with PMPro here: www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/content-controls/
Hi @987654321ABC1000. This code recipe sets membership restriction on a Custom Post Type (CPT) category. www.paidmembershipspro.com/restrict-access-by-membership-level-for-custom-post-type-cpt-categories/
Hi @nejemyetenenbaum5732. My apologizes! I added chapters and forgot to add the link. Thank you for mentioning this. Here is the link: www.paidmembershipspro.com/reduce-form-fields-at-checkout/
Hi @talentapp. You can offer an automatic percentage discount on all products for members based on their level with our WooCommerce integration Add On. www.paidmembershipspro.com/add-ons/pmpro-woocommerce/
Hi @talentapp. PMPro does have Discount Codes you can set for your membership levels. I mentioned WooCommerce due to you wanting the 10% discount to be on site wide purchases. It sounds like you have an online store that members can shop from. You would need some like WooCommerce to offer a store like that to your members. www.paidmembershipspro.com/documentation/admin/discount-codes/
So when you integrate canva to say wordpress, can you use canva create your own templates on a seperate webpage of your site? Allow the customer to come to your site paint, add text or pictures etc. On "my template" that i created. Then add it to your cart pay for it and I will then print the picture and send it to them. Is something like this possible with canva?
The site is broken. Why didn't you leave an option to keep the legacy colors? I built and adjusted the theme around it and now it is all messed up - white on white when dark-theme option is selected, and pure ugly when the light mode is on. Horrible!
Hi @chanstr4186. Navigate to Memberships > Settings > Design. In the Global Style section, choose your desired option. The "Minimal" option will load minimal styles and let your theme handle the rest.
I had pretty login/join buttons the same design as level select/submit buttons. Now that is gone and replaced with ugly plain text. Where / how do I customize or bring this back to the way my site was?
Hi! Tell me which plugin can be used to do the following: 1- unregistered users can buy e-books. 2- registered users can download books from one category (they see the download button and there is no add to cart button) and have 10% off all books. 3- those who bought the "start" tariff can download all books and have a 15% discount on coffee mugs.... I have been looking for a plugin for 3 months and cannot find one, but I do not have the opportunity to spend $120 on a plugin yet...
I admit that I haven't yet seen all of this very helpful workshop (I'll see the rest today). Thanks for posting these videos, they are really helpful for solo inexperienced creators like me. It kinda feels like I have some much-needed colleagues! I've got your fab PMP on my staging site and wondering how best to put a community into it... In this workshop, I saw that you used Buddy Boss Platform. That's the paid for version yes? I can't find a free version of it...
Hi Chris, Kim and Sam. Thank you very much for this transmission. You have made things much clearer for me when it comes to configuring the service I offer. You are very special people and I wanted to tell you. I have spoken via ticket with both Chris and Kim about my Learn Press migration, which I am doing myself, although I am not a professional in this area, but as you have commented in the video, the most difficult thing is creating the content, customization and configuration are sometimes a lesser evil. Thanks again for the service you offer and the commitment you have in helping us digitize our knowledge. Sincere greetings. Rober
Hi @Profacademyonline. With the domain based protection the video cannot be downloaded only streamed from the allowed domain. See our blog post on this: www.paidmembershipspro.com/bunny-cdn/
Hi Kim. Great video. There is an option for Bunny Stream too, which seems like designed specifically for video hosting. Would you recommend Stream or CDN for Wordpress LMS website? Thanks
Bunny Stream would still be hosted the same as if you were using native Bunny CDN video hosting. I think the benefits are a more customizable player but I haven’t used it personally so I cannot vouch for whether it is superior to their hosting only with the WP native oembed player
