The name Teufelberger stands for a dynamic group of companies working with three key technologies in three strategic divisions relying on more than 230 years of experience.
In addition to wire ropes for ropeways, cranes, and for use in forestry, Teufelberger is also active in the segments Synthetic Fibers (fiber ropes for marine applications, high-performance ropes for industry, forestry, arboriculture, and special-purpose applications, overbraiding and metal-composite interconnections) and Extrusion (plastic strapping and baler twines). Teufelberger operates production facilities in five locations: two sites in Wels (Upper Austria; all products), and one each in St. Aegyd (Lower Austria; wire ropes), Veselí nad Lužnicí (Czech Republic, fiber ropes), and Fall River (U.S., fiber ropes).
Hi Joe, I just pulled my video on how to splice Tachyon off of RU-vid because, even though I had lots of views, it was a method that was much harder to bury than your method. From here on out I am telling everyone that they should do it exactly like you do it and stop doing the old double-braid method. Thanks for the excellent tutorial!
Hi there, possibly a stupid question. But are you able to adjust the treemotion essential bridge? Example is shorting the bridge because my system is too far away from me
Polyester all day long. I don’t understand why people are so crazy about Nylon. The only time i have felt Nylon is better is when rock climbing and take a fall. The shock helps. But for rigging, and everyday use. Polyester wins.
I bought this already. Old type Teufeberger harness has to be bit modified to hold mini carabiners at the front side. When bend body to front , it will choke. I cool if can attach phone holder on it.
Hold on what about the rest of it!? This doesn't explain installing the elastic and showing us different configurations. Could explain what the extra rings can be used for
Finally, well-designed straps with a hydration system! Well done ! Too bad for the indecent price and the fact that the hydro pack is sold separately at 70 euros!! For a water bag? Seriously ?!
Gimicks....tree motion. Is over..after the loss of the evo....the kinisi is better .rather have like six other harnesses..ordered the tree .motion pro i had to send it back..the evo was there best saddle like everything in society today they throw it away to create sales gimmicks..anytime something acuttualy works or is good in any feild of tools or vehicles they will 86 it...greeed
Thanks for the video. But why the dark green and light green are not even for each side when you making the knot? I mean one side is dark green first layer and light green second layer, another is another way around .Thx
For such a large organization to get this splice so wrong is a bit mind boggling. Do NOT use this... Minimum tail for low stretch line is about 50 diameters, not one FID... Not sure what they are trying to sell here.
Hey. I made that splice for my Drenaline rope. Between the marks D and C there was a slightly thinner point. Is that normal? I tried to do that twice and it turned out the same both times.
Same. Remember from mark C back to mark A will be 4 core strands. So from the eye back to C is only a tapered cover and 4 cores. The crossover C to D should be all core strands and tapered cover. I had to edit this because I was wrong. If you have a hollow spot between C-D there might be too much cover taper. I had that happen and corrected it with less angle with the final scissor cut on the cover. Hope this helps

It can be used with any harness really, the treeMOTION Pro and Essential do have specific attachment loops for it but you can easily find a way to attach it to any harness :-)

The eye doesnt retain the same thickness and body as the rest of the rope. I have done this 3 times with the same result. Don't get me wrong it makes it extremely easy to run a splice this way. And I know the core is ran through the cover making the eye i can feel it. I know once sewn in it will hold weight. I am just wondering if it should feel this way?
