Lovely. Great choice of succulents and very artistic arrangement. How did you drill the holes in the fountain? I have a cement fountain and had succulents in it. I didn't have any drainage holes and just tried putting a layer of pebbles on the bottome and then my soil on top. They grew great but then after years of drought, we've had two winters with pouring rain (atmospherice rivers) and my succulents floated away. I also tried umbrellas but I couldn't get them to cover the whole thing.
Thank you for your good explanation of how to root a new plant from the Mother. I just received 4 4" potted silver Dichondras. I will place them into a few shared pots and a large hanging basket. I've been wanting to grow Dichondra for years. So excited to watch it grow this summer.😃
How often do you water your Christmas cactus? I have a large one that flowers regularly. I water it weekly as with my others. Also, I recently got a small Jade plant. Many years ago, I had a Jade tree that eventually could not tolerate all the moves I had to make following divorce. I was thrilled to find this sweet little Jade which was doing really well, until two days ago when I found it leaned over the side of its pot. I checked the plant holder and there was quite a bit of water in the bottom so I drained that off and from your other video, am going to get a 3-way plant meter so I can find out what is going on with it. Any other suggestions for its recovery? Thank you for all your good information.
Thank you. My beautiful Jade suddenly dropped over and I am unsure if watering or light is the problem. Saw this three way tester and wasn't sure if it was worth buying but you have demonstrated it beautifully. I am going to get one tomorrow. Thank you again for your insight and information.
Hi Kerry, I'm a plant enthusiast from Lake Charles, LA where we have a purely subtropical climate. We only had a couple of light freezes (28-32 degrees) this year, so you get the idea. It''s March 12, 2024, 66 degrees at 7:46 P.M. and clear. I'm able to keep my plants outside on a sunny patio 99% of the year with a nearby heated room where I can scoot them in case we get any nights into the thirties. You have great channel and don't know how I missed it! I'll be "liking" and commenting from time to time. Keep the good succulent videos coming, especially the DIY ones. 🪴🌴🌵
this looks like a petchoa (hybrid of petunia and calibrachoa) and not calibrachoa , actual Calibrachoa has much smaller leaves and is almost never without flowers
I have this plant as well, actually I have 6 but I have a question if you have time, on two of my plants they have put on what looks like pups on the leaves of the mother plant. They are at the joint of the leaf and stem. I have not seen this before and wonder how I take those pups off and plant them? If anyone has dealt with this or knows where I can find out the answer to my question, please send me a comment with the information.
Did you know that you can cut the leaves of you want to produce more pups? Is the one plant i know of that doesn't need stem piece to produce pups! Brown leaves, cut leaves etc will produce babies!
Great video! My panda plant is growing tall and skinny and I was looking for info on how to trim it to get it fuller. If you have any like that would love a video on how to fix it.
I just went and bought this kind a few days ago. Plus a few other varieties. I thought I would be able to seperate them and plant in mutiple containers. But realized when I got home its multiple flowers coming from the same root system. So I think I'll try your method so I can have many!
You should have removed the glued pebbles, then you would be able to plant the whole plant. You cut it off w/o aby roots. You should not have cut it at all. .plz don't cut the plant. Go get another plant and do follow my instructions. Plz remove the glued down pebbles, with a knife and a small hammer or gavel. Plz don't ruin another plant. Happy planting ❤️
I”m sorry you didn’t like the way I treated this plant but it actually worked well for me. It put on roots and survived for several years. So was not ruined. Happy planting to you as well!
How long did it take for the pups to appear? I ....have one that I didn't take care of well & now it seems to have died 😔 it was my fault. But I kept the leaves incase they would propagate. One of them is already growing roots! I'm so happy. I want to give it the best chance at survival though so now I need to know the next step. Do I keep waiting for a pup to appear? Or do I put it in some soil now?
