Oh one thing I wanted to say , after living in the States around 40 years in many different states Is actuly a fact, Americans in General have no clue at all where Gibraltar is ! or even care about it 😅 🤷🏻
Heyyy i quite like my Texen Accent, anyone else ??? 😂 I did go to Acting School in New York City 🙂 But sometimes these strong Americanism just comes out 🤠 Janna looks Marvelous ( as usual ! also with her always so poised commentating might i add, (hate her for that !! 😅 just kidding !wish I was better at this 😂 ) I love the colors in this. By the way, mi Cuz, (Douglas Cumming ) taught me to Swim in the original Dolphin Pool when I was around 1O.. enjoy what we have left of la playa and summer this year all !
Thank you Tony, it was a nice day out, and thank you for lunch we had a fun day 😎🥰 You did a good hillbilly accent I think coz I couldn’t understand half of what you said 🤣🤣
Camp bay is one of my favourite places in Gibraltar. I love the view over to Morocco and the ships anchored out at sea. Always interesting to see the Gibraltarians enjoying the place. They are really good at setting up picnics and relaxing in family groups. Great facilities with toilets changing rooms the steps and the pool for kids. We have many Happy memories of our times at Camp Bay. Love the view of the Rock too from behind. Good video. There might be a wind but unlike uk at least it’s a warm wind and yes the sea is fresh but exhilarating for a swim. I’m always on the look out for jelly fish. You are a real local now bringing your picnic. Thanks.
@JannaTravels I lived there for 5 years as a kid, I always thought I wanted to move back but I was there last week and I just don't feel it anymore. Too restrictive and not dog friendly in the slightest, dogs are a big part of my life.
Hi I have lived here all my life and I also have my prons and cons. Just don't agree with some of your points. When it comes to shopping I admit we are not spoiled for choice but to state there are no clothing shops is just not true. In the high street we M&S, Marble Arc, Trends Mega store, Matalan, Emporium, Next and a few others around town. As for service in restaurants you can't generalise cos like everywhere you go there are some with good service whilst others can be quite poor. As for smoking ( I hate it ) here you can't smoke inside any premises at all. Would be great to see it extended to outside areas though. Actually only the minority of locals actually smoke whilst most of the smokers you see smoking around are cross border workers. As for entertainment for such a small place it is not to bad I mean its not fair to compare Gib with London or any other major city. As a local my 3 major cons are the levanter especially in summer with all the humidity, the lack of civic pride by many locals and the traffic. Cheers to Adam for his pragmatic approach to living here. 😉
Locals are on holidays, tourists on tours, it gets busy in the evening with holiday makers 😄 Gibraltar is very family oriented, good for retirement also, but boring for the younger generation, wealthy people mostly invest but prefer to live somewhere else.
