The barriers in the ocean look the same as when my wife and I were there 8 years ago . Maybe it will take 50 years and not 15. Everything there is perfect though and the barriers are disguised by the rest of the magic at Royale
this is the model 1866. i bought same thing at walmart for 279 dollars in sw florida. you get what you pay for so to speak. i am going to keep this in th garage and not let it get wet. the cart is rather flimsy so don't plan on moving it about without it coming undone. couple things to look out for. when you grab free floating cover to lower and hook on the back, don't accidentally hook the grease trap that has dirty grease from day before and knock it to the ground making a gross mess. not hard to do but you'll only do it once. the paper towels like to unroll and blow about on that holder for some reason. the wind will inevitably blow them right into the open flame underneath, like happened to me. fortunately i had cleaned up the grease slick on the floor of my garage before the paper towel fire made its way into it. the handle on the side of the tank under the shelf that won't go down is useless. no complaints but this thing cooks really hot !!! i usually have the rh burner off totally and the rest on low and only move the way lh to high when cooking the proteins and that only for 5-10 minutes. hot hot
Got a great deal today on this Blackstone. Wal Mart was remodeling the store to get ready for the fall season etc....I got it for 75 bucks brand new in the box...also got a few accessories thrown in for a few bucks (spatula and steam lid for 5 bucks for both)...Can't wait to use it!!!
I watched another vid where the guy half-seasoned it, & then flipped the griddle around to attain the same result uniformly as the front runs at a cooler temp. Brilliant. Picking mine up tmw. Thank you so much for posting!
@@2shinypennies598 thanks’ after watching a RU-vid video with some grey ugly cement things in the water, ive changed my reservation to el dorado maroma.
I was able to install the bottom shelf easily by placing one of my personal plastic toolboxes underneath one of the areas to relieve some of the pressure while installing on of the bottom shelf sides. This allowed me to install it myself instead of relying on a second person. Just a tip. Hope this helps!
Haha that first tray took me the longest to figure out and I actually at first installed wrong. After that it was smooth sailing. Many say they were missing parts but mine was 100% complete. Going to season it soon.

Do you guys go back? I love going to El Dorado Royale! I've gone there about 5 times now and every time the service gets better and the people there remember me and my wife!
Seaweed was an issue. The man made barriers would not be best for swimming either. Overall not great for swimming but the seaweed issue may have changed since then.
Thanks for the Vlog series this is my second time thru it..we go on the 21st(so next week)..so ready..really appreciate yall doing this..most extensive by far..I sure hope its a personal preference thing with the food..thats one of reasons we picked El Dorado was for its food..we stayed at El Dorado Seaside in Dec2020 and the food was exceptional..hoping for the same there..again thanks..

Beach was nice and quiet but the seaweed has been an issue. They had full time employees clearing the seaweed all day, everyday. So it may create an issue if you plan on swimming and not just lay out sunning.
