You're so pretty it's hard to pick the best one but I'd have to say the Smashbox...I do like the Clinique too though...I do think it's kind of a makeup girl's dream to try different foundations!! That's probably always been my fav thing to try. Never been that big on eyeshadow or setting powder-and I used to sing semi-professionally-had the leads in musicals like "South Pacific", always insisted on doing my own makeup for stage and never ever used powder to set my foundation. That's when I was a lot younger. I grew up in church/christian schools like you. Thank the Lord for being raised in a christian home can I get an AMEN? I play the piano but that's not my God given gift-yours most def is. Love to hear you play! Thanks for another great video!
I LOVE the Dior Forever Foundation. I'm 60 and I use the Forever Glow Foundation by Dior. It is wonderful and gives me great coverage with a dewy glow (which I love). I set it with my Huda Beauty Easy Bake and Lose Setting Powder. But I find that during the day, the coverage seems to be gone. Maybe I should switch to the Matte formula?
I’ve been following your posts for a while and have finally this week taken the plunge to have my hair cut into your style. My stylist, also my niece, has done an amazing job. Didn’t have the sides shaved this time, but you never know in the future. I’m so pleased with the style, wish I’d done it earlier xx
I was so inspired by your Pixie that I got one today! 😊 It's not exactly like yours because I have very fine hair. Feels fantastic! My hair was already short, but I've been so disappointed in the other places I figured I was doomed to a bad cut. Thankfully I found someone with 28 years of experience and she listens! She did tell me to use gel instead of root boost or mousse because of my hair being so baby fine. I wish I could post a picture on here to share! The only real problem now is that this salon is in Florida and I live in Oklahoma. Oy. Thank you, Sharalee!
Love your hair tips!! You must have quite the following as the Zuvi is currently sold out!! I will keep checking back and order when the stock is replenished. Many thanks. Denny
In the past month, I've switched from Neutrogena hydroboost products to Cerave for normal/dry skin. Seems every year my skin decides to throw me a curveball. Lol. The Cerave hydrating cleanser is not drying. It doesn't foam or suds up, it's more like a lotion. I'm using the same line of moisturizer as well. The only difference is in the daytime I use Supergoop mineral matte sunscreen. At night I use rosehip seed oil. I'm probably going to checkout Supergoop eye products and maybe Coppertone lip spf. I use plain old witch hazel as my toner. Waiting between each product has also helped me. I'm using up my Neutrogena makeup remover balm. My sister uses Clinique Take The Day Off, so maybe I'll check that out.....or Estee Lauder. Something that's rarely addressed in the skincare world is that we should sleep on a silk pillowcase. Not satin. You want at least 25 Momme Mulberry Silk.
Wow! Your lower lashes are longer and thicker than my top lashes! As a side note, I have been pleasantly surprised to discover that the rosehip seed oil I use at night seems to be nourishing my lashes. They appear longer and thicker than before, although nothing like yours. I believe the oil is moisturizing my lashes and preventing dryness and rapid fallout. Thanks Sharalee!
New subscriber. I'm 58. Your haircut was what initially got my attention. Love it! It's just what I've been looking for lately. I have combo/oily sensitive skin with rosacea, etc. I just went through a whole thing of finding a facial sunscreen that doesn't burn, etc. My research brought me to Supergoop mineral matte. (I can't use the unseen sunscreen. It seems all the sunscreens with those particular ingredients are the culprits.) I am loving it alone or as a primer. Yes, it does settle in my pores and lines, but I live with that knowing I'm protected. I want to try their cream to powder eyeshadow as well. I don't like the lip products at all. The taste isn't pleasant. I am currently using Jerome Alexander airbrush foundation. Looks flawless and only $20 on Amazon. My sister uses JA mascara kit and it is phenomenal! I'm going to check out some of your mentioned products. I am really enjoying your videos so far. Tysm.🎉
Welcome to my channel!💗 It's so crazy you mention your issues with the other Supergoop sunscreens...I had the same issues with all but the Mineral Matte Screen! I bought the Supergoop cream eyeshadow and it didn't work for me....creased like CRAZY and seemed to melt right off! But I actually have tried the JA airbrush foundation a few years ago and really enjoyed it! I may have to check out more of his products😘
@@SharaleesBoxOfChocolates Oh no! Thanks for the heads up! Sephora doesn't carry the eyeshadow anymore, so, no samples. I thought about the eye bright cream. I just want some day use spf for my eyelids that won't get into my eyes.
Great video! I need to take the plunge to try some liquid foundations. I'm 66 & have basically only worn the original bareminerals powder foundation... Your suggestions always steer me in the right direction! May you feel God's amazing love & comfort today & every day!
I love your videos. You are my favorite. Doll 10 and Dior forever are my faves. I recently tried a Dior sample of hydrating and was shocked how good it was on my combo skin. Have you tried it?
Wahoo!! So happy to hear that!💗 I don't recall trying the Dior hydrating foundation....will have to check that one out this fall after our super hot weather subsides😘
Made comment before seeing it Freeze It was on the video. Surprised to see it on the list. It used to work so much better in the past. Have used it only as hairspray for probably 15 years or more.
I’ve been using Freeze It in the gold can for years. My daughters and even my son used it for hold. I used to spray it on my wet roots for volume. It held our curls in place was great. Something changed. It does not work anymore. Made sure using original formula. See maybe optical brightners added as advertised on can. Idk no longer buying it. It is not the same.
So interesting to learn about your favorite foundations. They all seem great. I just purchased Laura Geller Double Take Liquid Foundation. Trying this out. So far I like it. The wand sponge applicator is easy to use in dabbing makeup on face. Then I use my Eco tool brush I really like Laura Geller beauty products As always I’ll keep your favorites in mind. 🌷💗🌹💗🌸💗😘
So funny, I'm in the middle of testing the Laura Geller liquid foundation too! The shades are a struggle for me but the formula does seem great😍 I love so many of her products too!!♥️
How funny… what a coincidence !!! I used a small white sponge applying the foundation today. Think I like that a little better. Going to check on Amazon on the sponges like you use in videos happy weekend ❤
Where can I get my hair cut like yours? I live in Lake Oswego , Oregon. I have been going to lots of salons and can’t get my hair cut that is what I want for 9 years.
I got the Tarte bb tinted sunscreen moisturizer and wowza do I love that!! I feel like it goes on like velvet. I definitely can’t be without that anymore!! The Clinique foundation looks amazing on you!! I used one of their foundations for years and it did an amazing job. I’ll have to try this one for when I need full coverage.
Do you have a recommendation on how to best clean your makeup brushes? I find cleaning my foundation brush very hard to do and get it completely clean.
Yes, I've done a couple of videos....I'll link the latest one below and I do share my secret on how to get all of the foundation out of your brushes!😘 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-ktqt257Iraw.htmlsi=cdJDzo0PAFQPOxYu
Thank you🥰 I've actually bought the Estee Lauder DW twice over the course of a few years and didn't like it at all on my skin! I know it's super popular and SO many love it but it just highlighted all of my texture....weird, I know😜
I'm in my early 60s and have been using it CC+ 50+ UVA/UVB and I love it. I'm not much of a try different things gal, so I truly enjoy these videos of different products I could try. Sharalee, you look lovely, as always.
Thanks for another wonderful post! I can't wait to get my "pink bix" with the Dalton foundation. I couldn't find the link for your tips on color matching.
I'm so excited for you to try the Doll 10 products!! I totally forgot to include the link for the foundation matching video....I'll link it here for you😘 bit.ly/3RfWQsq
Always love your videos. I have never had huge pores, but unfortunately the older I get the more they appear. It makes my makeup look splotchy and I hate that. Do you think if I use the Clinique foundation and the Honest Beauty loose powder it would work for me.
Thanks so much for putting this video together! I absolutely love makeup and love to learn from others! I will use up the foundation I currently have and then try some from your list! Definitely going to get that blurring powder! Your eye makeup is gorgeous and I’m going to try to recreate that look today! 💗🌸
We're definitely on the same page, Sharalee, when it comes to foundations - oh wait, the ones I use are on your recommendations!! 😂 The Dior is truly divine. I agree that the longevity is excellent. I somehow always feel totally fabulous when I'm wearing my Dior! The Clinique is also a lovely foundation with great coverage but oh dear, I agree about the poor colours. I also have a yellow undertone to my skin like you BUT I am VERY fair. Even the palest warm or neutral shade looks ghastly on me, you know, that orangey-brown thing we're all trying to avoid! 😱 Really looking forward to the next video in this series! You're looking great, dear friend, hope you are doing well 😘
You are too cute!😍 I'm so happy to know that you love my favorite foundations too! Clinique definitely needs to expand those fair shades. I have that "lightest" color and I know exactly what shade you are talking about!😳 Thank you for your sweet words💗
