I’m noticing this video has gotten a lot of attention lately! Thank you to everyone who has left nice comments or has just enjoyed the song. I’m getting a handful of questions, primarily in English surprisingly, so I will try to answer them. “What are the lyrics/translated lyrics?” The lyrics in Japanese, Romaji, and an English translation are now in the description! The English translation might not be entirely correct, for that I apologize! I still wanted to get something up because so many people were asking for one. “Can you put this on streaming?” Unfortunately I can’t, as much as I’d like to. I don’t own the rights to this song and it’s not something I have the ability to do. However, Toshio Furukawa, one of the singers in this track, has the first three of his albums on streaming as of a few months ago. If you enjoy this song I’m very sure you’ll enjoy those too! Those songs are also on my RU-vid channel as well. The rights holders haven’t officially uploaded his albums TOPIO or IMAGE to streaming, but they are still available to listen to on this channel. Again, thank you to everyone who has enjoyed this song and I’m glad it could make you all happy. As someone archiving music, that’s pretty much all I can ask for. Importing records from Japan is expensive but it’s worth it to know more music is out there in the world, accessible, and bringing joy to others. @@ddddddddfffffffff I figured maybe someone had used the song in a video or something, that explains why so many new people are checking out the song! Who made the edit? I’d love to see it! Also as far as I know, I don’t think there are any other uploads for the song on any other places like streaming services. I only uploaded this one because the only previous RU-vid upload had lower audio quality.
Actually, that would be copyright infringement. Wanna know why? It's because this isn't some recent original song with classic aesthetics. This is a song from the soundtrack of the Japanese version of the drama CHiPs. The vinyl came out in 1981. And the people singing this aren't just somebodies, they're two QUITE known Japanese actors. You can search "Corniche, You & The Explosion Band, Hideyuki Tanaka, & Toshio Furukawa - CHiPs" on youtube for all the tracks. People don't know how to spend more than 1 second researching/double-checking I swear. You're living proof.
Unfortunately I don’t believe Toshio Furukawa and Hideyuki Tanaka did any other music together. However I have plenty of Toshio Furukawa’s solo tracks available to listen to on this channel!
