My dog was a 6 month old puppy rescued during this. I only found that out after getting her DNA done a year ago and connecting with the owner of a full sister of my dog who was able to tell me where she came from. When I rescued my dog, I found her online at a Humane Society in Bowling Green, Ohio. The humane society didn't know much about her past, only that she was found left in a house alone. So when I rescued my dog from the Humane Society, she was 4 1/2 years old and it was actually the second time in her life she needed to be rescued. The first was this raid of John Jones JRT puppy mill. I am forever grateful to everyone involved in rescuing her, she is the most wonderful companion. I cherish her more than anything and am glad to be her forever home. She will be 12 years old later this year. Everyone involved in rescuing her from this puppy mill at 6 months old has changed her life and mine for the better. She is showered in love, kindness, and understanding and gets everything she could ever need or want. I adore her.
Diamond is still living happily in our home 12 years and 2 kids later. She is the absolute BEST dog and she is so loved by the whole family and even all the neighbors 💖 💎 We're so glad she's ours.
putting the puppies back in mom’s care could’ve made her stressed with protecting them since she’s spent most of her motherhood on the unpredictable streets; this could slow her progress toward trusting humans and getting adopted
Its really sad that we have so many lazy veterinarians working in our societies that would rather cut a dogs leg off instead of doing the surgery needed to save the leg. I understand the cost is more, but next time lets just cut your leg off! A least you were able to not kill the poor dog. I’m only saying what many are thinking. Really, you couldn’t do just a little more.
I remember when this used to air on television. Made me tear up every time I saw it. I can't imagine how cruel some people can be. Karma will get even with them some day.
My poor rescue dog has found on the road with a horrible chemical burn all along his back. Just watching these videos makes me think of how much god gave him a miracle. Quick checkup on him: He is a Chihuahua and his name is peanut btw! He is 3 years old and the sweetest little thing:)
That's wonderful news but let's not forget PETA's role in saving these dogs and the fact that one of their peaceful protestors has been arrested for doing nothing more than sitting in the lobby of the Sheriff's Department with a sign begging them to finally put an end to this horrific breeder! Without PETA no one would even know about these dogs and there would have been no peaceful protesters manning the lobby asking the Sheriff for help! I am not a member of PETA but I read their post and also begged for help for these dogs! Why does it have to come to the extent where this young lady was arrested? That's the fault of the Sheriff! Shame on them!
Awww my heart just melted. 🥰🥲 But I'm concerned the puppy will grow up to be very cat-like and will probably have to be treated like a cat for the rest of its life.
I went home from that facility and have seen that program it's a joke guys snitched their way in and the ones who don't snitch get a bad name anyways cuz of all the snitches there around. Make no mistake there's nothing pure about that program it's corrupted like everything else in the system
