We are Jenn, Rich, Dexter, Penny and Beagle Roxy. A family from Liverpool celebrating travel, Disney and Hard Rock Cafe :)
We started blogging our adventures back in 2016, as we were inspired by our adventure to Hawaii as a newly engaged couple. Hawaii truly pushed us out of our comfort zones. Since then we have been on many adventures around the world that we have blogged, and have recently started a RU-vid channel vlogging.
Now as a little family we want to take you on an adventure with us to show you that travel doesn't have to stop once you have a baby. It is where the adventures begin.
Please enjoy our adventures and let us know in the comments :) oh, and make sure you subscribe to our RU-vid channel to see where we visit next :)
Your kids are adorable. I was in the Fjords a month ago (July) on QM2. My daughter got married onboard. I loved Stavanger so much. Have just booked for Iona in February to Northern Europe.
We’re thinking of booking the Iona .What activities are there in the day time.Im not one for pools or sitting about and concerned I may get bored.Do you know what teen activities they run within the day also. Thanks
We can't speak for teens. But the kids club that our little boy went to he absolutely loved. So I can only imagine the one for teens to be so good too! You are given a document each evening with activities that are on the next day, and there is something on at all hours of the day. Whether it's shows, seminars, arts and crafts etc. we're the same, we can't sit and just chill. But we found ourselves never bored :) xx
We did this cruise in april. We couldn't believe how warn it was. We wanted snow. But got glorious sunshine instead. Olden was by far our fav port. We did the glacier. It was amazing. We have now booked 2 more after doing this. We love cruising. Great vlog. Lovely family 😊
Ah, we were expecting snow too! But can't complain at how beautiful the weather was ❤ We are eager to book more, can see how people get addicted to cruising 😂 Thank you for watching!
Do you think two full days and an evening is long enough with two toddlers? I'm not that interested in going on adult rides just walking around. My flight times mean I get in Monday 6pm and leave Thursday 7am
We would say so yes. Going with young children, I think you've got to accept that you won't get everything done. You take it a more relaxed pace, but it makes it all the more fun and magical letting the kids control the day! Whenever we go back, we would go for that length of time. You will still see and do looooads! You'll have the best time! Xx
Looks like you had an amazing time, looking to book this year. Does your sister still do the disney holidays? tried to follow the link in the description and didn't work for me.
It was amazing! Yes she does! I think she's updated her links since, as it's been about a year and a half now. Follow this link... instagram.com/nat_magicalfamilytravelagent?igsh=bnE1aGNveXA5MXNz
lovely Vlog , great for anyone with small children thinking of going on a cruise. What date did you go? I went 1st June and definitley not as good weather as you got !
Hi, can i also ask about the olden glacier? We have a 2 year old so will definitely need the pram which the dad can push and i am pregnant too... so is it absolutely worth it? Or just postpone it to next visit??
It's definitely manageable, but it could be easier. Personally I'd say, put your 2 year old in a back carrier for Dad to carry. But with you being pregnant, as it is a bit of a tiring one. Maybe look at getting a troll car up, that takes you up the majority of the hike, then you just walk the last 15 mins or so which is alot flatter (and the same down). The hike isn't to be missed (in our eyes) the views are phenomenal, it's like to other. But do what you think is best for your body. The troll cars will help massivley if it's something you really want to do xx
Hi, thanks for the vlog, very helpful Can i ask about the gala night dress code, you said they turned you away and thats really disappointing. To avoid that we called them to confirm, they said we dont have to take part if we dont want to... is this different from the baffta night you was referring to?
Thanks so much for watching! On our trip, it was called Celebration night - unsure if this name changes or not. But yes, you don't have to take part. We got turned away as Rich didn't have a jacket, even though he had a suit on - which was slightly annoying. But we ate elsewhere, other people had casual clothes on! The dress code on the ship we found quite confusing. As it comes across quite strict for evening wear, but we found that most people didn't necessarily stick to it. So we just rolled with it each night! We just didn't think the Black tie would be so strict, as we've been to black tie events before and it's not been like that. But people get VERY dressed up, like they are going to a prom! Hope that helps, enjoy your trip! 😊
Found you via your cruise vlogs as we were on the same route and then saw the Disney content! Subscribed and looking forward to catching up on your travels 😊
Loved the content. I think you’ve got a real skill at doing this I’ve watched many other vids on Iona and this trip which we’re doing in a couple of weeks time and it’s so much more informative! Keep up the great work.
Oh this is the best comment ❤ thanks so much for watching! This was exactly our aim. Being our first ever cruise, we naturally watched vlog after vlog and still had loads of questions. So we hope this is helping everyone watching! Part 2 is currently in the editing process 🥰 Do you have a trip planned on Iona? 😊
@@yourownsetofwings Yes I’m really looking forward to watching Part 2! 👍👏Going on Iona to Norway for my 50th on 6th July with hubby and our 2 kids, been on Royal Caribbean and MSC but first P and O and first time in Norway so looking forward to it!
That’s great news, love the way you are explaining about the tour options not using the P&O rather expensive option, also explaining about the kids is great for us to understand things!
You'll see around the parks loads of stroller parking bays. Basically a lot of prams lined up near barriers near the rides. As far as our experience goes, it's been pretty safe. We always just make sure we keep our important bits in bags to take out from the pram when we're leaving it xx
We are traveling in October with our two little ones who will be 4 and 2 and we have really found your videos very useful and really well done in terms of sharing your experience and tips. We've watched so many videos to try and get tips and an idea of how it will be with our boys but yours is the most useful we've found, thank you 😊
This is the best news! Thank you so much for watching, and we're so happy that you've found them helpful 🫶 you're going to have an amazing time with your little ones!
We're trying to decide which park we love and I love them all but I do think Epcot does have something special xx Think we need to book Disney hint ....hint xx
Great vlog Rich - great tips. So impressed you brought the family - I ran but left my family at home in the UK! Was glad the rain didn’t last too long and we had a chance to dry off!
I’m definitely not a runner but this is something I’ve always thought would be so fun! I’ve been there during the races and seen all the people walking around with their medals. Thanks for sharing!
Ahhh love every bit of this! The virtual queue is always so stressful! So cool seeing the little one trying rollercoaster:) Brings a smile to see y’all enjoy Disney World! Great job y’all!
Looks amazing! I’d love to take my two but don’t think I could afford it. I have to stick to Disneyland Paris for now although that can be pricey too. How did you find the flight with the two little ones? I love watching your family you all look so lovely 😊
Thank you so much for watching! The flight was great! We had a bassinet seat for Penny that was a game changer. Dexter is used to flights now and he loves them, so it all worked out great! Always helps when the cabin crew are lovely and interact with the kids 💛 long haul flights though, you have a TV and meal to break up the flight 🥰 I wouldn't let the flight put you off!
